          Oh. I forgot that portal theory 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️. My main theory from ep 1 is Gon saved himself to save Taeul…how he does that is up to the drama to reveal hahahaha. If it’s not Gon, it will be Shinjae.

      If I did it with beer, I’d probably end in bad shape! Current theories:

      *Gon saves himself with Shinjae’s help
      *Rim has got flute bits in several umbrellas
      *Shinjae’s double is still laying in a coma
      *PM Koo’s dismissal was previewed by Rim and they still have a move up their sleeves
      *Gon is exploring time through the road in Screensaverland and leaves red globes to pinpoint entries in different moments of the past
      *Yeong will betray Gon somehow (with good intentions? hope so, *whimper)

        The mystery surrounding ShinJae, his two moms, Lee JiHun’s mom and his potential doppelgänger is making me nervous. It almost feels as if there will be a surprise twist coming from that.
        I can’t think of Yeong betraying LG either. It would be too devastating. *sigh

        My theories for Friday:
        * Shin-jae sees his comatose double.
        * PM creates an uproar in Corea by revealing that “Luna” is Gon’s bride.
        * Gon “time travels” to 1994 while he’s passed out (dream sequence).
        * Luna steals his half of the flute.
        * Tae-eul and Shin-jae arrest Rim’s minions at the care center.
        * Somehow we get to the opening scene of Episode 1.

          Yesss! More twists and turns…
          I’m seriously nervous for ShinJae more than anyone else 😣 with all the buildup on his character and all the foreshadowing, poor ShinJae has had enough trauma already 😭😩

When I first saw Hospital Playlist’s flashback scene, I knew I would love the 5 friends because it reminded me so much of the 5 friends in Reply 1988. In both dramas, I really love their friendship the most. 💕

    Seeing Evil Uncle as confused as us about the lightning scars was kind of gratifying. I thought he had it all figured out.

    Now we have a week to make up theories about it 😀

    Tae-eul will have a hard time answering her questions. It’s so sad.
    She is better off in Corea where she can still go and visit her hometown.

      And the conditions Lady Noh set for TE to not ask any questions or tell anyone, that will be an additional burden for her.

    literally every episode she says that she knows !.. told LG directly.. gave us enough hints as well

    Question though is.. she also doesn’t burn so her doppleganger is still there?

      As far as I know, the hints didn’t say anything about Lady Noh coming from ROK. It only pointed to her knowing about a crossover and time travel because of TE’s ID. Her previous actions and dialog now would make sense after knowing this fact.

    i missed sthg.. what was lightning scar reveal?
    both ML and villain had it from the beginning no? What is weird is why Noh, Shinjae, and FL don’t get it

      I assume lightning scar only affects those whose doppelgängers are already dead. So that’s why TE, Yeong/ES, Nari/SA, ShinJae don’t have it. I’m not so certain that Lady Noh doesn’t have it. She could be accustomed to it already all these years like LR. But we will have to find out more later.

        But shinjae’s doppleganger is dead .. he replaced the dead son.. ofcourse that probably was natural death

        But natural death doesn’t make sense, why SJ’s real mom had to send him to the other world.. was she always involved in death of the previous king?!

          Shin-Jae’s real mom does seem suspicious being LR’s informant and all. I seem to recall their family being in debt so that could be a reason. It’s puzzling though why Shin-Jae doesn’t have the scar. I’m wondering if his doppelgänger is not really dead?

        OR, that little deity is tired and planning to give scars to all so that LG could identify them. Only good people (good to LG) are not getting the scars 😛

Just a few thoughts in the comments…

    I loved this episode! We finally got to see doppelgängers moving in both worlds. Great to see Luna again! She’s so scary lol. But I’m kinda optimistic she’ll have a change of heart and turn to LG’s side. Or she might do the unthinkable and sacrifice herself. I think Luna’s interaction with Fate will have something to do with it. Will be interesting to see how that goes.

    I loved the “battlefield” action. It was reminiscent of the historical era where Kings fight to protect and conquer. The battle between good and evil has to be done with sword fights on horseback of course! And finally, the King orders a beheading. Nothing unusual there from a sageuk drama point of view.

    Anyone thinks that the real PM Koo is now in ROK? I kinda got suspicious when she slipped on the heels. And changed into stylish outfit too.

      I loved it too. I’m so happy. 😭 I mean, I haven’t quite recovered from that opening. ToD and CoD in one scene?

      More coherent thoughts later, but I loved to see Tae-Eul use all her wits and fighting skills to survive. Fate only gave her a tiny helping hand.

Playtime’s over! Show just turned around and got really dark and heavy. Not really surprised. It’s the same dark feeling emanating from Episode 1.
