Kim Se-jung clinks to a Brewing Love with Lee Jong-won

Kicking back with their favorite drinks with some snacks on the side, ENA invites us to a little sit down with Kim Se-jung (The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch) and Lee Jong-won (Bad Memory Eraser) in the new character promos for the rom-com Brewing Love.

Starting with our heroine Chae Yong-joo (Kim Se-jung), we learn in her character teaser that she’s nicknamed “Dog” Yong-joo and she’s very much like an energizer puppy that keeps going and going and going. With the brightest of smiles and a relentlessly strong spirit, our charming queen of liquor sales has her eyes on indie brewmaster Yoo Min-joo (Lee Jong-won) and she’s determined to do whatever it takes to score her deal.

This of course spells bickering and clashing when the exuberant Yong-joo meets the sensitive Min-joo, who is all about keeping boundaries. Hiding behind his curtain fort, if Min-joo can’t see it, then I guess it’s not there. And though his behavior comes off as prickly and eccentric, it’s a safeguard for our hero due to his highly empathetic nature that makes him emotionally overwhelmed by other people’s plights.

In the new posters, we also get introduced to our story’s second leads with Shin Do-hyun (Doom at Your Service) playing Bang Ah-reum, Yong-joo’s ambitious rival from a competitor company. Baek Sung-chul (Tell Me That You Love Me), on the other hand, plays Yong-joo’s close friend Oh Chan-hwi, the roaming free-spirit who owns a toast truck.

Directed by PD Park Sun-ho (Business Proposal) with scripts by Lee Jung-shin, ENA’s Brewing Love is slated to follow Dear Hyeri in the Monday-Tuesday slot, premiering on November 4 in just two more weeks.

Sameee. Love the cast and from the photos it looks pretty but I don't know if I can stand all the drinking that's sure to ensue. I no longer have patience for drunks or drinking in kdramas. It's very off putting 😩

I'm actually worried about them drinking too little...of good beer, that is! Korean mass produced beer is not ever good. But apparently there have been some decent craft breweries that have opened up within the last 7-8 years, and I'm sure that's the trend that the ML will represent.
So while I could be wrong, I have a feeling that the ML will be all about quality not quantity when it comes to beer, meaning that he, at least, will not be drinking as much.

The drinking vessels in the poster is giving street drinker vs sophisticated drinker vibes.

With Business Proposal's PD, script execution is in safe hands.
