      You know in dramas one always say β€œwait here” and runs off to get water/bandaid/umbrella. So when she said thirsty, i was like.. there is no way there is a shop anywhere near that hill! Hence his response was more funny and appreciated in its absolute real-life accuracy.

      My favourite is the satanic doll 😆

Oh my gosh these cuties are the most adorable little actors. I hope we see more of them in the drama. I love how their vibe as kids match the bickering adult ones.

    I’d love a show about these two, thanks for capturing her face at the perfect moment. I also loved a second later when she kind of flips her right hand up, what a good scene!

    The way he was running in that second scene brought back so many memories of kids who ran just like that. I could not stop laughing.

    The kids are so adorable! The part in ep 2 where they had to act out the FL vs the ML perspective of what their dynamic was like as kids was hilarious 😂 I hope we get more scenes with them too

Random Wednesday Thoughts:
In kdramas, it’s amazing how insomnia can be magically cured by sleeping with your Love. I wonder if snoring can be cured in the same way.

Checked in on DB, saw that Love Next Door is this week! Just last week it seemed so far off.. I need to finish Mobster quickly so i can start new dramas.

    Love cures all in kdramas!!! trauma, insomnia, Pyrophobia etc etc. I am sure there is more.

    I do actually sleep better if someone is in the same bed, or even the same room, as me. Its a thing I have actually read about in the past (so cant give you references, but its something something grounding and anxiety). It doesn’t have to be your one true love for it to work, of course. And it might not work if the other person is snoring…
    (The snoring itself may be able to be cured if your true love carts you off to a doctor who diagnoses sleep apnea or other mitigatable illness. But that’s being cured by the doctor, not the true love, so ymmv)

I’m done with Hot Stove League and enjoyed it from ep 1 to 16! 9/10 for the drama, just that it didn’t have an ost that caught my ear.

On the other hand Minus 10 for DB for still eating my comments.

In another episode of Random Things I Watch, I’ve started Hot Stove League. The drama is a bit like Namgoong Min’s acting. You think they’re not special or much to look at but they slowly draw you in and hook your interest. On to ep. 3 for now.

    Hot Stove League is unique as it’s not your usual romcom or melo or thriller genre. NGM certainly anchors the drama but what I truly appreciate is all the side characters – their stories and acting. Top notch indeed!

    I hope you enjoy it more than I did. I pretty much dropped it around ep 12. I was expecting a comedy since I had previously seen Namgoong Min in Chief Kim and was severely disappointed. Namgoong Min doesn’t even smile once throughout the whole drama.

It’s not like i don’t have new dramas to watch.. but i spent the long weekend rewatching Extraordinary Atty Woo and tonight an episode of Impossible Heir. IH is not great and i kept wondering why they made everyone looks sick. Let’s see if this face can still make ep 3 appealing tomorrow.

Has anyone watched or know where to watch The History of Walking Upright? It’s a 2017 tvn drama stage with Lovely SunJae as the lead.

      The clips on tvn’s yt is not translated. It’s kind of frustrating that tvn doesn’t provide subs unlike kbs who even has multilingual subs on different yt channels..

This girl finally made it to oppa-land! I remembered too late that i didn’t download Lovely Runner and despite my best wishing & hoping it will fully download before take-off, it didn’t. Plot twist, my app doesn’t work in omma-land so i can’t stream it either. So i have to wait until Tuesday & avoid spoilers for so long! Oh well, the real Korea should distract me from k-drama 🤣 Paul Kim’s But I Will Miss You played as the plane landed so..

    I guess she had to relive all those years. That should be mentally exhausting, but she is fine.

      I don’t think the show will make her do that, even if it would make the most sense by what passes for rules about the time slip. It’s too cruel and it makes no sense emotionally for her to have lived through close to 50 years by the time she’s 34 in 2024. In the middle of episode 13, Sol says, “I came back to the time I was living in, several seasons passed, and winter came again.” That doesn’t sound like 15 years. Maybe she jumps back to 2022 or thereabouts after the family moves in the altered timeline where she avoids ever meeting SJ. Maybe I’m trying too hard to make sense of this. Probably both. 😂
