Beanie level: Unemployed slacker in a sparkly tracksuit

Nevertheless will have a Jdrama remake with Ryusei Yokohama : “Nevertheless: The Shapes of Love. . I wasn’t fan of the KDrama because of the main characters but I really like Ryusei Yokohoma and I wonder how they will adapt this story. There will be 8 episodes only and it will be on Netflix.

I’m really excited to watch their drama. I love both Kentarō Sakaguchi and Kasumi Arimura.

It’s cute how they don’t feel like they were the celebrities too.

is this that noodle thing again that someone posted a few weeks ago.. chestnut spaghetti cake.. something like that

Yeah! It was in the What Comes After Love. It was the favorite dessert of the ML. In the drama, it was a whole cake.

But in my country, we eat the small version called “Tartelette aux vermicelles” (the cake version exists too).

Chestnut purée is commonly used in cakes and buns in a lot of East and Southeast Asian countries. It’s typically piped onto them and hence, the spaghetti look.

I forgot how intense was the relationship between the sisters, they love and understand each other so well, they are the best to hurt each other too.

My Unfamiliar Family is such an exquisite drama that it quietly creeps up my ‘very best’ list over the years. The more I think about it, the more I appreciate how it depicts the most complicated emotions understatedly, yet lingers for so long!

I’ve been waiting for the writer’s new work, she wrote “I Married An Anti Fan” after MUF which is not my thing thing – but any feedback from those who watched it?

I Married an Anti Fan was released in 2021 but it was ready in 2018, they delayed the release because of a scandal.

But it was a Korean webtoon that became a C movie with an Korean idol and then a Kdrama… I’m not sure how the writer really contributed to the Kdrama because there is another writer. It didn’t have great reviews.

Thanks for sharing! It makes sense that it’s originally a webtoon – guess the MUF writer just adapted it into drama and that would be a drama made before MUF if it was made in 2018.

I think the show refuses to show any decent adult except for the two dads.

They look cute together 🙂 The Koreanisation of Kentaro worked very well, he looks handsome.

For someone who just learned Japanese for a shoot, she was very good. It might be just ‘simple phrases’ but she was talking/responding to him in Japanese. Very impressive.

He’s handsome before he was in a korean drama. He looks exactly the same here and in Parades 😂. He even looks better in Hell Dogs stills, havent watched the movie but I saw the stills, his forehead is partially free!!! Hahaha

Oh yeah, but Korean tend to wear more make up and Japanese are more natural.

For me, his dimples are the cutest!

@panshel and @jsourgod

In the book, the job of the characters is reversed. The husband is the politician and the wife is the doctor and more particularly Su-O’s doctor. When they realized that Su-O saw the murder, the wife, to protect her husband, fueled his fantasy to protect Da-Eun in her death/sleep. She gave him a heavy treatment to maintain him in a state of mind which makes it difficult to discern reality. His father knew about it all along.

that makes way more sense than him doing that on his own tbh, even though its really evil for everyone involved. I wished the drama had went there with this plotline, at least it would make the role of the doctor/congresswoman as a couple more relevant imo. it would also make more sense of them “”holding suoh hostage””.

thank you so much for your explanation about the book. I’m even more curious to know other differences so feel free to share if you’re up for it lol

I watched Nobody Wants This on Netflix and it was really good. As a person who hated the last romantic movies like Anyone But You, Players, Upgraded, The Other Zoey, etc., I was really happy that even if they fell pretty fast, it felt earned because they had time to develop their love story and characters.

Was it worth selling a kidney for Adele’s concert ?

Yeah !

The organization was pretty good, I was surprised to get to the hotel in only 1h15, only 15 minutes more the outward journey. They were enough food and drink. As a woman, WC are important and there were enough of them and they were clean !

The arena was very big and the stage small but the screen was very big and I could see her.

The show was really good. She’s a great performer (her voice !) and super funny. I\’m really glad I got to see her in concert at least once.

München is a nice city and after 3 times there, I visited a lot. This time, we did the castle of Nymphenburg. I need to go back to see the garden because it’s really big !

A live performance is a memorable experience especially with such a good artist. I’m so glad you mentioned the other facilities and issues which go a long way to make a good experience great. Thank you for sharing!! 😍🤩🎤

They built a stage and concert zone for this concert from zero for 10 concerts of 80’000 persons. It was really a big event but everything was perfect.

Yeah! When I read she will have concerts in Müchen, I was very determined to see her. She’s not an easy artist to see in a live performance in Europe. Las Vegas is too far for me :p

This interview reminded me my surprise about Korea. They have a lot of rivers and beaches to swim but they don’t. When we were on Jeju or Busan, they were swimming in the sea but in a closed basin, not in the waves. The temperatures were high, we got a lot of messages of canicule but nobody in the rivers… Our guide said he couldn’t swim neither.
In Switzerland, we love to swim in the lakes and the rivers. There was a video on internet where people swim in the Aar in the town of Bern after the work to get home.

The last post reminded me PEB and RW’s interview. I liked how she drew things and he was more in the metaphors.
