A sweater for @elinor 😂

Oh my! That is a LOT of sweater. Thanks! I do wonder if the actors choose these crazy piles of fluff or if it’s all sponsorship.

I hadn’t seen Choo Young-woo before the (so far) one episode of Lady Ok I’ve watched. He seems delightful.

I don’t know. But I don’t see why people would wear this sweater without being obliged by a sponsorship 😅

      Yeah, he seems very charming.

Oh, it was this summer! I already came back… 😭

But it’s funny to see the places I visited in drama. There was Daegu Tower in When the Phone Rings, the park in The Tale of Lady Ok and now this one!

21th December – I have your back: Bromance / Womance.

I loved this quatuor of strong women in A Virtuous Business. They were brave and hilarious. They always had each other back!

20th December – The drama / scene that touched your heart

Every scene with Jin-Woo and Seo-Kyung in Tell Me That You Love Me whether as college students with Baek Sung-Chul and Lee Eun-Jae, who played a lovely couple, or as adult with Jung Woo-Sung and Kim Ji-Hyun who played pain and regret inin a very convincing way.

18th December – Difficult one: that awful parenting

Black Out was a village full of bad parents.

There were a lot of choices : violent, alcoholic, manipulator, killer, coward, shameful, encouraging the bad behavior of their kids, bullying, etc.

Ugh they were all rage-inducing levels of awful. Just the WORST.

17th December – Your non K-drama recommendation

Ludwig

While seeking to unravel the mystery of his twin brother\’s disappearance, reclusive puzzle-designer John \’Ludwig\’ Taylor takes on his twin brother James\’s identity as DCI on Cambridge\’s major crimes squad.

It was really a funny show like UK can do.

In dramaland, Will Love in Spring was my favorite drama in 2024.

Chen Mai Dong was once a rebellious youth, but after experiencing a life-changing event, he chose to become a funeral makeup artist. Zhuang Jie became disabled due to a car accident, but she worked hard and became a career elite in the big city in order to pursue a better self.

One is a funeral makeup artist with a rebellious personality but is emotionally and physically lonely; the other is a brave and dazzling medical salesperson with physical defects. Through constant struggles, they gradually understand and respect each other, healing each other’s “imperfections” with love.

Will love in Spring is just delightful. I just made everyone around me watch it. Probably the best I have watched this year.

16th December – Oh, that tall guy (the actor who just played the tall guy)

Na In-woo in Marry My Husband was quite disapointing. He was the least interesting character because he completely lacked charisma. He was very tall but it wasn\’t enough to make an impression.

Not really the same vibe than the original character in the webtoon.

They often follow the webtoon character’s visual to the T, so I wonder why they didn’t give Na Inwoo that hair style. It would have been more interesting. Or did they, at the beginning of the show? I didn’t watch it.

      I don’t think so.

But in a general way, he’s more like a puppy 😅

My exact same point. He was just tall.

15th December – Name the plot hole (whether it drove you crazy or you laughed at it)

There were a lot of dramas with plot holes.

So my choice wasn\’t an usual plot hole… but the main lead was a bodyguard and he was pretty bad at it.(Sorry Ju Ji-Hoon) This scene made me laughing a lot.

Few seconds later…

What happened after this scene made the drama least interesting for me. I was there for the debate about meat not superman.

I didn’t watch this show but your narrative made me laugh too.

Love Your Enemy in 2024

I liked the fact Jung Yu-Mi acted twice with Eric Mun :p.

I snorted when she said that, I can’t believe anyone else remembers Phoenix! 🤣🤣🤣

Some beanies have incredible memory!! I can barely remember what happened the previous episode.

To be honest, I don’t really remember this drama 😅

Memory is a funny thing. This was my first full kdrama (celebrating 20 years, boy that flew by 😬) and it must have imprinted on me, I can barely remember whether I’ve watched most of this year’s titles and have to look them up now that it’s year-end. 🤯
But the line is iconic, it was sooooo cheesy even then that Eric’s fellow Shinhwa members taunted him w it every chance they got. (Shinhwa was the sort of proto-BTS and they were all over everything.)

Oh Hae-Young gave him another cheesy lines and kinda liberated him from Phoenix ones :

          Something I had lying around
I fell sick from holding myself back from hugging you.

11th December – Funniest scene

There were many funny scenes in 2024. I\’m not sure which drama was the funniest.

I really like the humor in Wedding Impossible, the characters were hilarious (before the writer couldn\’t find a good way to resolve the plot).

The FL calculed everything except the presence of a street lamp.

10th December – The Real Villain

I don\’t know… there wasn\’t a villain who wasn\’t like the usual ones. I guess I was sad with Flex X Cop\’s ultimate villain.

The fantastic characters were bad villains : the gods in A Good Day to Be a Dog and My Man Is Cupid, the Death in Death\’s game, the Devil in The Judge from Hell, the Cat in Miss Night and Day…

I always like Chun Jung Myung and I wondered where he was. The truth is sad.

How terribly sad is this?! Not only is the Korean entertainment industry cut-throat but also littered with such fraudsters.

I hope things will be up, up and turnaround for Chun Jung Myung.

It is difficult to come out of this betrayal especially if one’s parents were also scammed. 😢

9th December – Most stylish drama

I think Queen of Tears\’s Kim Ji-won and Kim Soo-hyun looked really great.

But my favorite part was their wedding rings!

The model of BVLGARI‘s Viper collection looked good on them.

Every close-up in their hand was my guilty pleasure :p

@mrsbuckwheat

It was a happy end. But I don\’t think the ML really thought about his daughter and disapeared during years…
