Beanie level: Noble idiot

Black Out was such an amazing watch. Good script , good cinematography and good casting. The only weak link for me was ML 🙂

I enjoyed Black Out. I’m curious why do you feel ML was the weak link? I felt ML was okay, he fought for justice and he won.

Sorry writing late. That was heavy job for an actor! Someone who went to prison as a teenager , innocent, should come out bitter! Finding out how he has been back stepped by the ones who were supposed to be closest! I have never watched ML’s previous works. But He was too naïve! He could not carry it. Anyway that’s what I thought 🙂

It is the best show for me so far in this year. Very strong script, directing and good casting. I could not miss a scene. I wonder ‘the original book’ is it already been adapted to a Tv or movie in Germany? I am watching ‘Dark’ done by Germans. I wish that team can adapt that novel to Tv too 🙂

I did binge watched ‘Love Next Door’ and disappointed! First 2 episodes were a kind of okish but the story did not move on after! Why 33 years old people behaves like a teenager!

My Sweet Mobster was an amazing ride from first episode to last. Thank you for making my Wednesday and Thursday evenings fun. You will be missed.

I am so disappointed The Auditors’ last 2 episodes! I guess we deserve a better story. Total run is only 12 episodes and there are already many plot holes! VP should fire all Auditors team 🙂

Why I can not like Lee Jung Ha at The Auditors! He is supposed to a likable character but somehow i feel he is a burden the team more then Yum Kyung-Suk! At least he is honest being bad:)

know, feels sparse drama wise. But Radio Star ep 850 with Super Junior dudes is a pretty fun watch. Heechul-unapologetically conceited and entertaining, Eunhyuk -our dancer and easy to poke fun at, Leeteuk, MC 💯 cheesy, and sensitive Yesung tell of their Suju antics.

Queen of Tears episode 5th was the best so far. I finally get into fun club 😄

I have tried but I just can not like Wedding Impossible Female/Male leads. I have found them both very unlovable characters! Unfortunately nothing to watch until Friday !

Koreans drink that much? Really? Watching Doctor Slum this weeks\’ episodes and sooo much drinking involved again like many other dramas.

Is this a rhetoric question? SK’s general drinking culture has been steady from time immemorial. And if what happens in movies/series is what happens in real life which I am sure it is, I’m surprised you’re asking this.

Finding a KDrama with a healthy drinking culture is like sunrise meeting sunset: it doesn’t exist.

Drinking is part of the Koreans’ routine – a constant in their lives. I don’t think what we’ve seen in dramas is an exaggeration at all.

Whenever I go on work trips to Korea, drinking is in the itinerary – after the official dinner, people are most excited about the second and third rounds = drinking at different venues with different drinking theme.

Also, if getting a gift for Korean friends, a bottle of whiskey is always welcome – better than some high end chocolates.

This far into the show they should have gone through all of the reasons to get drunk. I’m waiting to watch- hope I will want to by the end. A lot of people dropping it this week

This show does seem unrepentantly pro-drinking as a solution to every problem and oblivious to any possible negative effects – even those that have been shown in other recent dramas.

Trying to binge watch \”Moving\”. So far I am very disappointed. Episode 6 and still nothing happened. So many flashbacks, extra character introductions! What was the buzz about then!

LOL yeah, I didnt get it either

Well the show started from ep 8 for me
Before ep 8 I dropped the show twice, but got curious and picked it up again, and ep 8 happened and I started loving it sooooo much
If you want my advice give it a second chance and watch ep 8 and 9, then if you didn’t love it you can drop it any time
Although the violence was sometimes too much for me but show stayed 1 of my faves of 2023 till the end

Yeah, it didn’t work for me either, which was disappointing since I like many of the actors involved. I feel asleep trying to watch it and decided to give up on the fourth try because I kept nodding off.

While all the flashbacks and different stories can seem little disorienting it does all come together. ☺ But it’s fine if you’re not hyped about it. It is an acquired taste. If you don’t mind spoilers perhaps you can read the recaps and decide if you want to continue.

IMHO, it was definitely overhyped. I watched it until the end but wasn’t emotionally connected.

My favorite feel good drama from 2023 is \”Destined with you\”! I browsed ages on Netflix and end up with it again 😁 Hopefully \”Merry my husband\” will replace it soon 😁

I tried but can not like \’Welcome to Samdalri\’! I have dropped it sometime ago, checked out episode 11 tonight and nothing is changed! Everyone seems adult teenager in the drama 🙂

Song Kang horribly dressed in \’My Demon\’ ! Luckily he is so handsome that seems ok in anything 🙂

I can\’t believe Lee Sun King did this! He was my first crash at the Coffee Prince. How come he left his family that way!

Probably because he felt he was hurting them more by staying alive, due to the harsh, draconian response from law enforcement, the SK press, and many in the public. Not to mention the fact that if he had a drug problem, it’s not like he was in a psychological position to deal with this kind of extreme pressure and harassment. It’s awful, and I wish he hadn’t felt so desperate that suicide emerged in his mind as the best option, but there’s a lot of blame to go around here. I feel so sad and angry on behalf of him and his family.

Just marine the desperation of a person who thinks the world will be better without him? He didn’t do this out of selfishness, but out of pain. He’s not in fault. He needed help and no one gave it to him. We, as a society and a community, are also in fault.
