I don’t understand… who is she? what’s the reason that we end with her? and… what’s up with the butterfly? #MovetoHeaven

Well, I had the same question and read abt people’s opinions here and there… This one’s the one I had taken note of, so sharing it here…
“Move to Heaven Ending sees a girl showing up to Geu-ru’s service. The reason why she has come up to Geu-ru hasn’t been revealed. Nevertheless, it could be related to some cleaning up, but not sure after whom. If we go just by symbolism, a white butterfly lands on the girl. They are known to be a symbol of hope and transformation. Recently, after finally letting go of his dad, Geu-ru was going through a transformative experience. And this could simply be a way to symbolize it. Or else, we might just see her as a romantic interest for Geu-ru in a possible season two of the show.” (I can’t really remember from where I had taken this🤭)
    Hope this helps!

This is a really positive interpretation! Definitely not what I had expected. I thought (if there’ll be a season two) she might become one of the main protagonists in the next season and Geu-ru will help bring some light into her life and save her from her current miserable state (based on her saying that the one asking for the cleaning up is the one that the cleaning up is for, I thought her life might be ending soon…). But since the colours around her and the butterfly where all bright and pretty, I had a feeling she would be rescued by Geu-ru’s sincere heart.

@Mel I had the same question when I finished this drama. I do like @Unni’s interpretation 🙂

I really liked it. The main actors were really good in their role.

Yes! one of the reason I wanted to give it a try was because of the actors (Esp Lee Je hoon). Loved him in Signal!

I really hoped there’s somewhere I could read episode discussions for it. Did you search for any?

        Nope, I didn’t..
At the time I just looked up posts on places like Twitter or Tumblr, but no proper discussions or recaps 🤔
I don’t use it much, so I’m not quite sure, but maybe you can find some discussions on Reddit? 👀
That’s another place I go to sometimes when I want to read about dramas ^^

good idea! I actually did do a search on reddit but there’s no discussion by episode… Quite afraid to read discussions if there’s no episode reference (afraid of spoilers)

It’s very good and deserving of more attention than it received.

I’m a dissonant note here. Although it’s a nice watch, it felt like Highway to Heaven to me. I didn’t feel the connection with the show, but I can also tell you that if you watch you won’t regret.

Lots of people liked it, I just didn’t find anything special about it. But it’s an easy watch and surely you’ll like it. I just didn’t find it as emotive and touching as most people did.

It’s a great show though I felt like it was a little bit too depressing for me.

I’ve noticed the use of dark and gloomy colours to lure out a depressive view of the world. Glad that the world is brightening up ever since JiAn paid her debt in full. She’s now able to look at the world in new light. #MyAjusshirewatch

One of my favourite scenes in My Ajusshi: seeing how much support DH has from his family and friends. Those who are willing to RUN to your aid no matter the time of the day. *longing for such relationships*

To movie loving Beanies,

Do you by any chance know the name of a movie with the following description:

What’s the movie that there is this powerful witch or some woman and she was chopped up like legs arms etc in boxes and her body was split into diff places to prevent her from gaining power with her body but this bad person got all the pieces and put it all together so she came alive again

A friend of mine asked me but I cannot remember the name of said movie and its really bugging the both of us. We’ve even tried googling it but couldn’t find anything. Then I remembered my beanie friends 😀
