    Reminds me of the pearl necklace in the novel The Blue Castle. She thought he overstretched his budget with a $15 string of fake pearls, but they were real. $15,000 real (in 1920s Canadian dollars)

    He’s so happy to give her those earrings. She’s gonna freak out when she finds out.

The number of comments on the episode recaps is really low isn’t it? I miss Memories of Al Hambra because of its excessively numerous and funny comments.

    I’ve noticed that as well. Some of the shows are fun and I like watching and reading the recaps – but I don’t often take the time to respond. There are shows like MOTA and My Ahjussi that foster such deep conversations.
    Maybe everyone is too busy? I like the recaps – always..

      The delay in the recaps coming up. Several of the recaps are several episodes behind and they only focus on writing right away on the shows they like.

      Most of the current shows have very few beanies watching. Very few shows bring in the entire bunch.
      Sometime I wonder if they can skip a a detailed recap and just do the comments so they can cover more shows. Like a mini recap. Some shows have a lot of discussion on beanie wall but never had recaps (e g My ID Gangnam) it’s sad to see recaps with little to no comments.

Out of the dramas that premiered this week so far, Trap and The Light in Your Eyes were my favorite. Trap is so exciting! And I felt an instant connection with TLIYE.

    I hate the drama, but I love the OST. After two eyes I still haven’t found OST better than Goblin’s.

    Descendants of The Sun
    Encounters/Boyfriend
    I watch KES’s drama for the OST. Unfortunately the last one, Mr. Sunshine, is not as good as the previous two.

      Yaaas, Goblin takes home the gold . I can’t even pick which song I love the most. I love all them song equally 😥 and I agree Kim Eun Sook’s dramas have some of the best OSTs I have heard. I still love and listen to Secret Garden’s One Woman to this day 😔😔

      Although KES has great (vocal) songs, I’m rarely wowed by the background music.

      I think Crowned Clown is one that gets your heart pulsating with the background music. The selection of re-arranged classicals is magical. Another saeguk I remember is Six Flying Dragons, where the music behind the fight scenes were crazily synchronized to every sword poke and swing and every arrow soaring and piercing.

      Last year I recall Life on Mars and The Smile Has Left Your Eyes has great bgm. My all time favorite is the violin theme of Innocent Man.

I finshed watching Live, and i have to say: show you are truely a gem. I would describe this show as clever documentary. What a well written drama! What an impressive production team! What a supurb cast! What a beautiful soundtrack! The chemistry was so natural! A drama filled with so much emotion.

    the soundtrack that this production team used was very similar to the one they used in It’s okay that’s love and I can’t complain, it was fabulous. I still sometimes just listen to these beautiful songs, and family of the year is one of fav bands.
