Reasons to watch: Continuing the trend of short rom-coms this summer, Coupang Play’s inverted (or is that subverted?) fairytale story stars Moon Sang-min as chaebol prince charming (again) and Shin Hyun-bin as the girlfriend who commits to dumping him for cold hard cash when pressured. A refreshing premise it is, and I personally enjoy when dramas have their starting point as a trope subversion and then have all the excuses to be as tropey as they want the rest of the way through. Also, for all the spotlight our OTP have gotten, don’t forget that Yoon Park and Sojin are here too (*clasps palms in excitement*).
TL;DR: Inverted Cinderella story, here we come!

For what it's worth, I liked the first episode. It's pretty breezy and easy to watch; the brothers are cute together. I also liked the inversion of tropes and even though the lead actress isn't one of my faves (at all), she's doing fine with the role so far.

Who's going to do the acting in this show? Neither Shin Hyun-been nor Moon Sang-min can carry a drama by themselves.

I have the same concern. Shin Hyun-bin's acting never convinced me and the age gap will be highlighted more because of that.

If the show is written well enough the writing and the PD can carry the show even with middling actors. But it will probably not be on anyone's All-time Great lists- that really does require to notch performances.

At least, it's a short drama. I had a lot of hopes for Serendipy because there were good actors but I was disappointed. I have no expectations for this one.

I saw the picture and thought Yoon Park and So Jin were the leads.
I just can't imagine someone choosing Moon Sang Min and Shin Hyun Bin over them. No offense, but it doesn't feel right.

Oh, right! But even in BC he felt like a secondary character because of the nature of the show (the moms as the focus).

Seems like the secondary leads are the "real OTP". This Cinderella doesn't seem to be able to be her own Prince Charming.

I just noticed this show on Viki and thought, "Did I see that on Dramabeans"? No, I didn't, and there's already a recap of the first two episodes! Eek. I do want to say, I really love that cute ML Moon Sang-min, but I also think he's been typecast since his initial princeliness in The Queen's Umbrella. Come on people, can't he be a tall good looking scholarship student, part time worker or gangster next time? (Or other non-prince role...)
