Aiming to start filming once the main cast has been finalized, PD Gu Sung-joon is attached to direct with co-writing by Jung Soo-hyun and Nam Eun-kyung. [News1, Newsen]

1) I like the actors, I will need the plot in the future :p

2) I wish KSH gives up her bang at least once... Because it doesn't look confortable and practical for her job.

She has a huge complex about her forehead being unattractive. It’s unlikely she’ll ever give up the bangs. Her last role where she was willing to go with side swept bangs was RWTMR but there were comments from knetz who called her ugly for that so she might be hesitant to give them up.

But the issue is we will see the same character again and agains if she always has the same hairstyle.

I think she could have her bangs but not during the shooting scenes to show she's a pro.

But if she lacks self confidence there’s nothing we can do. It’s something she needs to resolve herself. KSH needs to come to a realization that her forehead isn’t her weakness. She’s still very young so it might be another decade before she can let go of her insecurities. Till then we will have to endure her hairstyle and hope she picks diverse character and scripts to build her confidence and her acting. As an actress its understandable why she’s afraid of being called ugly.

1. I will never understand how these women were the replacements. I will definitely watch this.

2. I'm excited for this, but I know I will get flack for this but not because of PBG, he is very hit or miss for me. More miss then hit. I hope this is a hit.

Late last year, 'The Price of Confession,' garnered attention with the joint casting of actresses Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee. However, shortly after the casting announcement, it was revealed that both actresses had withdrawn from the production as the production went through a reevaluation, including casting changes and a replacement of the production team.

I assume the original actresses were tied to the original production team which was replaced for an unknown reason. It could have been cost, scheduling or some other conflict.

That makes sense.

The original team has supposed to be led by Lee Eunbok. He was apparently the mastermind behind the drama it was his pet project. He suddenly backed out then Shim Nayeon was roped in and it was expected to be this huge female driven drama that would be a huge deal but apparently there were rumors of some sort of fall out between the actors and production crew because of which Shim Nayeon quit suddenly and immediately after that both Han Sohee and Song Hyekyo backed out. Then Jeon Doyeon and Kim Jiwon were roped in but Jiwon dropped the drama almost immediately as Queen of Tears filming would overlap and she was more focused on that project. Then suddenly Kim Goeun was roped in and finally the project got picked up by Netflix.

1. You have my attention.

2. Looks good. Really looking forward to this.

4. My Girlfriend Is a Tough Guy has a lot of potential, if they really embrace the premise and the obvious theme that comes with it. But it could also be a total trainwreck that's more problematic than anything else. Place your bets.

I do hope that IRON FAMILY will actually be about family rather than corporate power politics. I have finally figured out that the problem with Weekenders has to be the demands made by the executives at KBS who apparently hate side romances and love awful manipulative mothers.

Jeon Do Yeon and Kim Go Eun is a gorgeous mix, I hope the drama is good and deserving of their talent.

Lee Kyu Hyung and Ji Jin Hee sounds like a potentially hilarious combination, I'm intrigued. I hope some fun actresses hop on to it as well.

I might be ungenerous but I cannot assume the girlfriend turns into a guy drama will be anything but messy and vaguely homophobic given general kdrama track records, but there have been a few really nice exceptions, so I hope this one is one of those.

Because of Jung so Min, I watched Alchemy of Souls, and because of AoS, I will try anything with Yoo In Soo and Arin So, even tho the premise sounds ridiculous, I'll give the Girlfriend/Tough Guy (I bet the eventual name changes) a try.

I swore off KBS weekenders after Hyo Shim, but the premise - and the reduced # of episodes - means I will at least give Iron Family a look-see.

I'm here for the Good Boy Park Bo-gum and Boyfriend Yoon San-ha. Is this going to be the love triangle Miss Day and Night wasn't!? I hope Arin has more than just a cameo in an allegedly FL role.
