Reasons to watch: Bring on the rom-coms! And if you’re Destined With You, you’re also bringing a bucketload of fate with you. (And perhaps, going by the cast promotional photo, a dose of silliness too.) In our story, Jo Boa plays a civil servant who gets entangled with handsome attorney Kim Ro-woon when she breaks the centuries-old curse on him and his family. But with tons of cuteness also comes the forbidden and tragic (?) Joseon-era romance that started off the curse to begin with. (Well, at least we know they “met before” right from the get-go.)
Also starring in second lead roles are Ha Joon and Yura — both of whom have gotten too good at playing antagonistic roles. Notably, the drama also marks screenwriter Noh Ji-seol’s comeback after the success of 100 Days My Prince. Here’s hoping for a smash hit of cuteness and unexpected depth of character.
TL;DR: Jo Boa breaks Kim Ro-woon’s family curse and the rest is ~magic~

I am not watching BYT, the butt touching just wasn't for me and I didn't laugh even on accident, lol. However, I love a live watch, so will be live watching this.

I hope it will be the rom-com I'm waiting for a long time now! I'm not so complicated : well written characters who evolve and a happy ending. Jo Boa and Rowoon already said there were more 5 swoony scenes :p

Extraordinary You is the only thing I have seen Rowoon in. Ha Joon and Jo Boa I am familiar with, although older works, none recent, but they did well. The writer has a couple that I have seen and enjoyed, again older , not recent .
As long as the rom com is 💯% serial killer free 🚫🔪⛓️🚑

That is literally the only good thing he's been in, and i suspect it was because he had very few lines in it.
He has a tendency of being completely swallowed up by his female leads, who are usually far more talented than he is

LJW was the typical bad boy. He was good but he wasn't so extraordinary in this role for me. But he was very lucky, because at the opposite of Haru, his character had a background story that could help him to build his character. Haru was a blanck paper, we knew nothing about him and he knew nothin about himself, just the fact he was interestedi in Danoh but he didn't know why.

I don't think he was swallowed but the were focused on the female leads. His character was the one who helped the FL to obtain what she needed. It wasn't a difference of acting.

Well, I watched the 1st episode and it was boring. Easy drop unless you are going to stick it out till the end for that one actor who I know is among your favourites ;) , but then that actor's character does not seem much different from their last "fantasy" drama.

HAHAHA glad I'm not the only one!! The BTS videos with Rowoon and Lee Jae-wook teasing Kim Hye-yoon because she was much shorter than them were hilarious - but in her defence, Rowoon is literally a giant omg even when I see him in the K-pop scene, he only looks of normal height when he's with the rest of SF9 and that's because they're ALL quite tall.

The height difference most noticeable to me is between Park Seo Joon and Park Bo Young. Next to PSJ, PBY looks tiny!!

Joining the live watch train for this one! I really liked Rowoon in King's Affection and Extraordinary You and the premise of this one seems to have elements of those two so chances are high that this will fill my rom com void with the substance that I can't deny that I missed from KTL...

Hi, everyone! I haven’t been around in a long time because nothing interested me or I’d start watching something and quickly lose interest.
The only thing I’ve watched is the anime of My Happy Marriage.
Destined with You came along and I thought, why not? Watched the first 2 episodes and it’s okay. At least Rowoon is eye candy.
If you haven’t seen episode #2, pay attention to the FL when she tries to change the light bulbs in an overhead light. I noticed something weird during the scene. Anyway, let’s hope this is a show worth watching!
