Kang Hanna, Go Kyung-pyo

Go Kyung-pyo (Connect) and Kang Hanna (Red Heart) have been paired for JTBC’s new rom-com, No Secrets (working title). Still in the planning stages, the story will have Kang playing a variety show writer, who sees a chance to turn lemons into lemonade when announcer Go suddenly develops an inability to filter his words. A new poster has dropped for tvN’s Pandora, showcasing our story’s main five players: Lee Jia (Penthouse 3), Lee Sang-yoon (One the Woman), Jang Hee-jin (The Red Sleeve Cuff), Park Ki-woong (The King’s Affection), and Bong Tae-kyu (Penthouse 3). The revenge-thriller premieres next month on March 11. [News1]

Yoon Kye-sang (Kiss Sixth Sense) has been confirmed for ENA’s Day of Kidnapping (roughly translated), acting alongside Park Sung-hoon (The Glory), Kim Shin-rok (Reborn Rich), and Kim Sang-ho (Bad Prosecutor) among other talents. Slated to air later this year, PD Park Yoo-young (A Model Family) is at the helm with scripts by Kim Je-young (Cheese in the Trap, the 2018 film). [Sports Donga]
Jin Ki-joo (Showtime Begins!) has been added to the cast of Uncle Sam-shik, joining the powerhouse lineup led by Song Kang-ho (Emergency Declaration), Byun Yo-han (Mr. Sunshine), Lee Kyu-hyung (Big Bet), and Seo Hyun-woo (Behind Every Star). Production for the 1960s period drama has both writing and directing by filmmaker Shin Yeon-shik (Cassiopeia). [Star News]

TVING released new posters for their sci-fi Duty After School, which has Shin Hyun-soo (Critical X) and Im Se-mi (The Empire) leading a troop of student soldiers to defend the school and the planet against alien invaders. Directed by PD Sung Yong-il (Class of Lies) with scripts by Yoon Soo, the battle for human survival begins this March. [News1]
SBS’s Taxi Driver team has been re-assembled for season two’s newest teaser, revving up the engines for the premiere this week on February 17. Starring Lee Je-hoon (Move to Heaven), Kim Eui-sung (Under the Queen’s Umbrella), and Pyo Ye-jin (VIP), production is in the hands of PD Lee Dan and writer Oh Sang-ho. [Sports Chosun]
SBS has been keeping busy with Romantic Guest House as well, which stars Shin Ye-eun (The Glory), Ryeoun (Through the Darkness), Kang Hoon (Little Women), and Jung Geon-joo (Kiss Sixth Sense). I'm very excited for 1. Go Kyung-pyo x Kang Hanna🥺😊👏🏼. So I read Go Kyung-pyo's character description and went " Oh! Wow! That's really cool and a recipe for some crazy ridiculous fun-filled story ". Stumbling upon the description for Kang Hanna's character and I went " Oh no🤦🏽🤣. Not another LiFS mutant baby ". I'm gonna wait patiently to watch this laughing bomb.

LiFS is the short for Love is For Suckers, a drama that aired a few months ago.
LiFS mutant baby as in Kang Hanna's character is a variety show writer. LiFS mostly centered around a variety show and the PDs involved. So her character being a variety show writer is kinda a mutant baby of LiFS.

No. 4. UNCLE SAM-SIK. Definitely I will be there (as always if there is a legal stream in the US.)

No. 7. SBS’s ROMANTIC GUEST HOUSE (M/T). The good news first. It is now on Viki US’s “Coming Soon” list so no availability angst for US viewers.
Besides the very attractive main leads you may notice in the pic above character actors Lee Joon-hyuk (1972) and Oh Man-seok. Also in the cast is the sageuk veteran Ahn Nae-sang (who is also in the cast for PANDORA).
Now the bad news (for me). ROMANTIC GUEST HOUSE and the currently airing sageuk tvN’s OUR BLOOMING YOUTH (M/T) will overlap on M/T for four weeks (8 episodes) March 20-April 11. In the past balancing two sageuks at the same time has been a challenge.
Right now I would have to say this is a maybe for me.

Oh thank you! You've made me happy with your news about Viki having Romantic Guest House on its list and I love the actors in it. Oh Man-seok had my heart way back in 2006 with The Man of the Vineyard. Also love the man of all hours Ahn Nae-sang and Lee Joon-hyuk. Maybe my age is showing a little, or the fact that I'm a veteran kdrama fan. I have acquired quite the list of actors/actresses as well as shows I love to watch.
