If this cast confirms, I’m definitely watching Ghost Doctor. Coming off of a huge second surge in popularity due to his recent variety activities (aka Hangout With Yoo), singer-actor Rain (Welcome 2 Life) is reviewing the script carefully. UEE (My Only Ally) has been offered the female lead part, opposite him. Last but not least, Kim Bum may make a quick turnaround after Law School with this upcoming project.
The main character is actually two characters. Somehow two doctors with different backgrounds, different personalities, and different capabilities begin to share one body. Rain has been offered the role of Cha Young-min, and Kim Bum has been offered the role of Go Seung-tak. Whether Rain and Kim Bum will be combining bodies (and give McDreamy a run for his money) or Rain and UEE will be combining bodies, it’s not clear.
Directed by Bu Sung-chul (Our Gap-soon, Heirs) and written by Kim Sun-soo (Live Up to Your Name), medical-fantasy drama Ghost Doctor will begin airing in the latter half of this year.

I have my faith in Live Up To Your Name's writer! I must say that though due credit must be given to the respective actors in that drama, the plot itself is very interesting and fun to watch. The comedic section is on point. I'm eager to see how this turns out. A bit disappointed as it's labeled as medical and fantasy but not rom-com which I think it's a strong suit of the writer.

Out of, by the way, I wouldn't be able to tell how guilty the director is. If the script is good, and the actors charismatic, even a poor director won't harm so much a show, will he??
Not sure, I don't know enough of directing.
But yeah, heirs is a bad reference.

A bad direction might harm. Wrong direction- good writing is the worst of Writer- PD competent and incompetent combinations. I didn't watch heirs but the warnings are just too much.

The best things about Heirs (ok, the only good things) were the recaps by Javabeans & Girlfriday plus the user comments. Sadly, you might not be able to appreciate those without watching the show.

Same here; loved her so much in Ojakgyo Brothers. I think her appearance slightly changed after that, but I think she is a charming actress. Kinda miss her chubby cheeks.

*sigh* it was a long shot anyway, but I had wished to see Kim Bum in a romcom next post-Law School - possibly with Ryu Hye-young. A girl can dream.
I like UEE, but the director of Heirs? Idk about this.
