    I did suspect her a bit, but was hoping I was wrong. Still, that doesn’t phase me as much as Ji-hoon’s involvement. I was hoping he would get some high-quality therapy, not revenge. You should join us in the drama hangout, we’d love to have you!

The child actor, Choi Hyun Jin, is killing it as the teen Min soo. So good.

I’m rewatching the Cherry Magic movie and Adachi’s family are just who I expected. You see how Adachi became who he was, and that is not a insult. They were just lovely.

I watched The Game Caterers with the group Seventeen. They were entertaining. They got a Youth Over Flowers season out of Producer Na. I will for sure watch that one.

    a my daughter made me watch The Game Caterers with her as a trade-off to watching a J dorama. omg, how will they corral those 13 noisy busy boyz in a YOF season???

      They were so funny and just a all around mess. The show seemed like they were really not prepared for them. Or at least not the wish outcome. :).

      I can’t name a song by them, but I would watch them on a variety show.

Queenmaker. Obviously Jae min should not be mayor, but guess what, neither should Kyung sook. She is a idiot who really don’t like to see she is wrong, a lot. Especially about people.

The Backpacker Chef really is just comfort tv. Chef Baek really is the best as a cook and a media personality. He would be perfect in a comeback of Please take care of my refrigerator. I miss it.

As I watch Jinny’s Kitchen, I am reminded why I have never finished a variety show staring him. He is such a charisma vacuum and makes everyone around him awkward.

    I remember seeing him in a Season 1 episode of 2D1N and even way back then he was a kill-joy. We had Lee Sun-kyun in the same episode having the time of his life while Lee Seo-jin couldn’t be bothered to even smile 😑.

      I remember when he was on Master of the House in the initial run and was just a douche to Lee Sang Yoon….because he was dating Uee at the time she and Seo Jin did that series and Seo Jin wanted to date her himself.

      PD Na just need to stop inviting him back. This act of not wanting to be there is not cute.

    I know what you are saying. I am watching it in small doses and I am near the end of episode one when the first customers arrived. I like the cast but a grumpy LSJ doesn’t really inspire confidence in his crew. I am waiting for the arrival of Choi Woo-shik. I think he will be the key to making this project a success. CWS should be the first person customers encounter when they enter not LSJ. With his language skills (particularly for english speaking customers) CWS will be great interacting with the public I think.
    Btw, are there only 2 episodes?

      Seo Jin has a MBA from New York University, one of the top schools in the US, especially for business. His linguistics is just fine, which makes this all the more insulting and says a lot about him. If you are gonna act like this, don’t agree to do variety shows.

    Thanks for flagging this, it’s on HiTV so I may check it out, I don’t watch reality tv often but Youth Retreat and Friendcation were both very good.

    Thanks for the reminder. Re V that sounds a little like Yang Se-jong in the reality show tvN’s COFFEE FRIENDS (2019). To me YSJ was ‘sweetly eccentric’ in real life. It was an eye opener.

I adore the way the women and their relationships are written in Love to Hate You. Mi ran and Na uem friendship makes sense and I love how Soo jin is written and her relationship with Mi ran. Great.

I went down a Game Cateres rabbit hole and watched the one with 2 members from Treasure. They are too cute by half and pretty funny and gamed for anything. Ah, youth.

Jdrama Love Between Company Slave and Director is funny and touching. The ‘plot twist’ in ep 3 will have you busting a gut. Jdramas seem to just get these type of situations right in their execution.

      Look up his work. He has range. He can do drama and comedy well. He was the lead in The Novelist, which got a spin off and later a movie. It is based off a magna and really well done.
