Lee Jong-seok and Shin Hye-sun to star in SBS drama special In Praise of Death

It looks like Lee Jong-seok (While You Were Sleeping, W–Two Worlds) is planning to stay busy before he goes off to the army! Lee and Shin Hye-sun (Thirty But Seventeen, My Golden Life) have been confirmed as the leads for the drama special In Praise of Death.
The story will be a dramatization of the real life and tragic love story of Yoon Shim-deok (played by Shin Hye-sun) and her lover Kim Woo-jin (played by Lee Jong-seok). Yoon was Korea’s first soprano and her story is well-known in Korea, but the very little attention had been paid to Kim Woo-jin before now. The drama will examine both figures and their relationship as Kim was said to have been both friend and lover to Yoon.
The drama title was take from a song of Yoon’s by the same name. The song “In Praise of Death” was released in August, 1926 — the same month she committed suicide. Following her death, the song became a huge hit.
Originally slated to have just two episodes, a third episode was added to the production’s run. I will definitely be tuning in and I’ll make sure to have plenty of tissues handy. In Praise of Death will follow Fox Bride Star and air on November 27th

According to AsianWiki, Lee Ji Hoon and Lee Sang Yeob are in this as well! My hype-o-meter definitely went up a bit there...
...but I'm not really a fan of the synopsis (we've seen way too many fictional tragic love stories, cough 100 Days My Prince cough). We're already guaranteed a sad ending, though maybe the short episode count will make this show realistic and dramatic at the same time?

Shin Hye-sun made quite a convincing violinist in Thirty but Seventeen so I have high hopes for this. Haven't seen LJS in anything since W (which I was obsessed with) but he's good at melo so fingers crossed the chemistry will be great between these two!

I also enjoyed the performance of Shin Hye Sun in that drama. Both Shin Hye and Jongsuk are great in dramatic performances, so I hope to enjoy a good show. (enjoy ... I think it's just a way of saying it because actually I think I'll cry a lot with this drama)

in fact, it seems to be a person who can not sit still. Sometimes he personally attends to the details of his cafeteria. He is already moving with his new agency, was even a few hours ago in an event of a famous watch brand and shortly after that event he traveled to attend his fanmeeting in Indonesia. He also officially started filming the drama with LNY that will run until February, so I guess he'll be back soon to start working on the film. That's why I can simply say WOW! This man is a super active boy
