Last month this stray cat gave birth in the shoe cupboard back home. And she was super skittish but my parents started feeding her. Now a month later, Cutie and her kittens are doing great! Still no touching/petting but she’s opened up a lot, she even rolls on the floor. In the second picture I was video-calling and I kept calling her and she got so confused, she kept turning back and looking around to see where my voice was coming from lol.
I love it when you get chosen by cats, it’s such a privilege.
My parents have been living by themselves for a few weeks now for the very first time with none of us kids in the house and I think the Cutie must have helped a lot. Cats are really cool that way.
My dad said she came her cause she knew there’s a crazy cat lady like me who lives there and will take care of her. I told them its not my fault, I haven’t been home in like more than 6 months XD
My mom named her Cutie and her kittens are Greybell, Snowbell, Tinkerbell and Snowflake. Yup the names are as unorginal as they can get.
My mom and dad went on vacation but we left the cat food with a neighbour who promised to feed Cutie everyday. Apparently Cutie has gone to their house as well before to get snacks xD

    Yesterday Chen got pushed by a girl at the airport and today this happened. SM Security wtf is wrong with you guys? Plus the woman in question apparently tried to get on stage too during filming? WTF.
    The boys really need more protection.
    Are we forgetting that once upon a time two girls shaved their heads and went into the men’s restroom that EXO were using to take their pics wtf???? Or the time Junmyeon’s hotel room had a hidden camera in it?? *eyeroll*

I\’m really done with people multi-posting on the fanwall back to back, it\’s basically spam! Maybe DB can introduce a new feature to prevent multiple posts by the same person for a certain time period?

    It’s one thing to post twice or thrice at the same time, but the fanwall is getting filled with multiposts and it makes scrolling through the wall really annoying.

    It is getting a bit out of hand.
    I know I often have to remind myself to not over post sometimes, so can understand the urge.
    But it does feel like spam and, for me, too much to consume.
    And I want to read everyone’s posts (well as much as I can) and click on the videos.

      Me too, I have the urge to post a lot as well but I try to keep it under wraps especially if it’s not Kdrama related. What really irks me is when they’re just a series of related text posts with multiple of them. Just post underneath in the comments of the first post, that’s what I always do! Why do you have to make multiple posts *facepalm*
      The screenshots as well. I can understand posting screenshots of imp scenes (I’m all for it) but it feels like people are posting entire episode worth of screenshots.

      I feel like when I want to spam post, why not do it in the comments of my own post, instead of taking up wall space? I understand it’s harder to post pics in the comments but it’s not impossible. I’ve been known to do a mini-spam or two myself, But even then I try to either space it out a bit or give a heads up.

        Mini spams can be fun.
        It can make me smile when a group of Beanies happens to do it about the same thing at around the same time even if it is a drama or idol group that I’m not engaged with.

          I have a few rules for myself regarding the fanwall:
          1. Try to limit long posts, and if I must, try to put most of it in comments (exceptions are for projects like Love, February)

          2. Try to stick to drama, or at least use drama pics to keep things in the spirit of the site

          3. It’s ok to post personal stuff (because beanies are the best) but keep the long thoughts in comments when doing so. See also, rule 2 re: pics

          4. If you must mini spam the wall, give warning, and limit yourself to the best of what you want to show.

          5. Make sure you’re actually talking about something and making a point or celebrating something. I mostly want to post to engage beanies in some way – whether it’s giving a smile or talking about an issue or squeeing over something. How deep the engagement is doesn’t matter, but to me, I want to be engaged in some way with the posts I see on the wall, not just be presented with a bunch of pics and no context.

          I also personally love the challenge of trying to fit my thought into the character limit because I like to be able to edit my thoughts to the very core of what I’m getting at.

            Oh don’t get me wrong I definitely do that. But I think of the wall as a public space. I share what I think is going to be interesting for the others sharing that public space. I think sharing pretty is awesome. It’s one of the things that makes the wall great – we alall share a lot of interests outside of drama and I love that. I love seeing fashion and screencaps and discussions about books and movies and music. I love the discourse around kpop here, for example. But I wouldn’t go into a public space and simply share what I want and drown out the other voices, if that makes sense?

    I also miss the times when fanwall was about drama’s. Now it is either someone’s diary or oppa fangirling space. Nothing wrong with these posts, but I would kill for hashtags here.

      Hahaha I’m definitely guilty for the fangirling bit. I get that we all have different interests but yes it’s a bit too much isn’t it? Hashtags will definitely help, that way posts can be sorted and you can block the hashtags for the really annoying posts

    I think one’s space is as important as the others’. I have been irritated countless times by kpop spam, actor spam- which is basically just fangirling. But one can just scroll down. The beanie wall is vey individual so I don’t find any harm in people letting their personal stuff out specifically when OT only comes a week later. But I do understand it can get excessive. It does. Hashtags will be the best way to go about it. Blocking is I think kind of rude, a few people might want to fangirl over their kpop biases but that doesn’t mean that’s all what they’ve got to say and by blocking you are depriving them of any chance of interaction, at times even help and encouragement. If we could have separate hashtags for kpop, dramas, life then at least people would know what they want to avoid or see.

    I’m also quite done with it, with scrolling past entire pages to find the next post that ISN’T the endless screen caps of some older show. I don’t get how people think it’s okay to literally post three times in three minutes (or ten times in 25 minutes) and I keep stopping myself from asking Mary if there’s not something she can do.

    A time period for posting would be great imo. Like you can only have three posts for an hour or two? or maybe depending on your level? I always limit myself with my posts although sometimes the lack of posts by other beanies makes the fanwall filled by certain beanies (like me) although there are intervals between their posts.

    I’m ok with scrolling down past a bunch of comments that don’t interest me, but even “a bunch” has limits.

    Recently I had to scroll past EIGHTEEN consecutive comments by the same person. Too much.

    This is has been my fear lately 😰😰
    I admittedly tend to pic spam—added along with some personal thoughts as I’m watching—the Beanie Section during my watch of a drama that almost everyone here on Dramabeans is watch/keeping tabs on (my most recent ones would be “Pretty Noona…” & “One Spring Night” before life got busy and I’ve had to put the latter on hold for now), but I usually will put out a warning or disclaimer before I do it….

    In all honesty, if it ever gets too much, just respectfully let me know, and I’ll gladly stop 😉😉
