          I encourage you to take a look at his other works 😊A modern drama role of his that I really like is Under the Skin (https://mydramalist.com/70249-lie-zui-tu-jian). The drama and his character was so well received that a Season 2 has been made (but still unaired). The cases of the the drama are actually drawn from real-life cases

            I’m currently steeped in Love Me, Love My Voice, with Under the Skin and 4 of his upcoming dramas on my list too! LM,LMV isn’t exactly a challenging role but it’s a blessedly calm story after all the intensity I’ve been watching this summer 😉

            @zindigo I have never been able to get into anything with the FL actress of Love Me, Love My Voice, so I didn’t even try it, but it makes sense to have TJC be the ML, since his voice is actually so 😍
            I totally get it! Now that Lost You Forever has come to a full conclusion, I’m thinking of going back to re-watch a mindless and light drama so that my emotions can reset before I dive into another new drama that will require my full attention and emotional investment

            If you’re okay with case-solving and gripping/intense dramas (and can reconcile that they’re drawn from real life cases), then I highly recommend it!

            I don’t love her character here so much but I saw some BTS/interview videos of them together and she is totally different IRL. Very engaging and confident.

            The drama really feels like it was written to highlight TJC’s voice and singing – and everything else is just a set up for that 😉

    One of my favorite C-Drama posters EVER!! 😍😍😍 If nothing else in the costume designs, the drama for sure got the PERFECT shade of red. What’s even better is that this shade of red that they’ve perfected isn’t just for the posters and promo material, but it’s actually showcased in the actual outfits in the drama

        Yes!! I’ve been re-watching Season 1 with a friend every time she comes to sleep over the last few months and she’d always ask me to pause at random spots because she wants to take a screenshot of the costumes 😂

    Props to the acting, honestly ❤️ I’m glad that “idol” actors/actresses (those who act in “idol” dramas— a.k.a. Dramas that garner large online traffic, clicks, views, etc.)— and not necessarily those who started their careers as “idols”) are getting more and more love, because they actually CAN act and don’t put in any less effort than an actor/actress that does not participate in “idol” dramas 😊

        Same!! When I was re-watching Season 1– which I’ve done many times in the last year as I was waiting on Season 1– I found myself always coming back to the first 15 episodes and then re-watching Episodes 32 & 33 (I think you’ll understand why once you reach that point) ♥️ I absolutely love love love the Qing Shui Town/Village arc of the drama and all of the people there 🥹🥹 Amd Cang Xuan (the cousin) really takes the cake for all of the scenes once FL is reunited with her family

Hello Beanies! I hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and happy. I’ve been thinking about the rise and fall of the popularity of boy/girl bands in the United States (cause that’s where I’m from). When I was in middle and high school, the popular bands of the time were Spice Girls, Destiny’s Child, Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, 98 Degrees, Hansen, etc. There have been other girl/boy bands since then, but I would argue that the 90s/early 2000s were THE era of the boy/girl band within the states, and that this hasn’t been matched since.

    Totally agree. 90’s were the era of American boy/girl bands and there was some great music. Feels like mid-90s is when music quality started to slide big time.

    My mum and I were window shopping at the mall on Wednesday (where there’s A/C in the middle of this heat wave) and I mentioned how the shoes she was looking at looked like something the Spice Girls would wear, since 90’s throwback fashion styles are making a comeback haha

    Wang Xing Yue bb 😊 He truly is a baby, being born in 2002 and only at 22 years old, but golly, he’s got such presence and maturity in his acting

        Yea, I was quite shocked myself when I saw his online profile state that he’s only 22 😱 Which means he was quite young when I first discovered him back in 2021 in the drama One and Only …. It may also mean that he was only 18/19 when that drama aired and was only maybe 17/18 when he filmed it

My thoughts on the ending of Till the End of the Moon.
*I will be posting my thoughts in the response to this post. I do not want to spoil any plot elements for Beanies who haven’t finished watching or those who haven’t started watching.*

    I was very invested in Tantai Jin and Li Susu’s relationship. I wanted these two characters who had experienced so much heartache and devastation to finally find happiness. I especially felt for Tantai Jin because from the moment of his birth, he experienced neglect, isolation, and abuse from those who were supposed to care for him. He could not help the circumstances of his fate and yet he was expected to accept this ill treatment. More than anything, I wanted him to know love, friendship, and acceptance. And this is why I am having difficulty accepting the show’s ending.
    Yes, I am happy that the Devil Lord was defeated and that centuries of conflict came to an end. Yes, I am happy that people, demons, and celestial beings can now coexist. However, I cannot accept that Tantai Jin and Li Susu were still forced to endure separation. Why? Why couldn’t they finally have some happiness?
