I finished Till the End of the Moon. There is so much that I would like to discuss and vent about with Beanies who’ve watched this.

I have a feeling that Till the End of the Moon will be the drama that leaves me feeling heartbroken once I’ve finished watching. Still, I’m happy that I decided to watch because the chemistry between the leads in wonderful.

I still loved it 🤗 It IS hard to stop thinking about it, however.

I feel as if this could be one that I’ll rewatch.

After it was over I read a lot of comments from people who read the novel. It helped explain a lot. Now I could definitely see watching it again with a fresh perspective. There’s so much detail to take in!

I would like to be able to read the novel that this drama is based on. I do feel that it would help me to understand the world and the characters better. I finished this drama last night. I feel emotionally overwhelmed.

I have to admit that feeling “emotionally overwhelmed” is one of the reasons I love watching c-dramas like this. 🥺 I’ve enjoyed a lot (a lot a lot) of k-dramas, but I’m not sure any of them match the depth, complexity, and heart of some of the epic c-dramas I’ve watched.

This is another reason for me to be excited about the month of August. I watched the trailer for Sailor Moon Cosmos and became so emotional. I can remember watching Sailor Moon with my younger sister when I was in middle school. I vividly recall feeling overwhelmed while in in health class. Then, I thought to myself, “When I get home I will be watching Sailor Moon,” and I instantly felt better.

So funny you posted this because I was just thinking about watching it to force myself to wait until more eps of The Princess Royal have been released before starting. (I’m finding Viki’s release schedule for new c-dramas lately to be maddening.)

Moon has been on my watch list for a bit and it popped up as one that would keep me plenty engaged and distracted 😉. Plus I like alternating genres with c-dramas because their length really creates an immersive experience each time and I feel like I need the shift between each one. Sorry if all that’s a little TMI, lol!

@zindigo Not at all 🙂 I was debating whether or not to continue but then I watched a few more episodes and I got hooked!

I’ve not watched it (yet… This is my response to my “to be watched” list of C-dramas 😅), but I absolutely love the cast!! Even the 2nd ML actor (Deng Wei) is now on my radar, because I’ve watched him in Lost You Forever Season 1, and he is GOOOOOD!! Definitely an up-and-coming actor to look out for!!!

Beanies, thank you for all the positive comments and support! It means a lot to me. Here are two versions of the flyer that I created for the program. The second version is the one I will be using.

So, no one attended the first meeting of K-Dramas Over Flowers. Still, I am hopeful that interest will pick up and I will get my steady group of drama enthusiasts.

Hyun-soo is about to take his own life when he hears the scrape of Eun-yu’s ballet shoes on the roof. Eun-yu’s dancing is what stops Hyun-soo from taking that step over the roof’s edge. Beanies, I watched this scene and had the following thought: wouldn’t it be beautiful if Eun-yu once more puts on her ballet shoes and dances for Hyun-soo? I can almost see the scene in my mind and it makes me so happy. Eun-yu dancing and Hyun-soo watching her dance with a look of happiness on his face.

I have decided to proceed with starting an adult K-drama discussion group at my library (in spite of the disappointing poll results). I have chosen the name K-dramas over Flowers, and meetings will take place on the last Monday of the month, from 6-7. I am offering attendees the option to join meetings virtually as well. I have wanted to create a K-drama discussion group for a few years now but always felt a little discouraged.

I would like to start a K-drama discussion group at my library. One of my colleagues created an Instagram poll to gauge whether there is any interest. Please, keep your fingers crossed!
