      yes😭 It was cute though when Xie Xiang gave him a apple when she found out it was his birthday though, and he blew the candle with his nose 😂 And when Guo picked up Manting after the dinner to celebrate her, it made me smile.

        I still don’t understand why she had to leave like that.. he gave one of the saddest smiles there, just broke my heart when he wished himself a happy birthday!

        But yeah, the apple scene that followed was one of the most adorable ones, and aw.. he took the button!

          I also don’t understand it at all, I was like “No don’t leave the puppy!” 😥😭 Felt really sad for him then.

    That was so sad. Show had to emphasise the parallels between Yanzhen and Manting even more… they have the same birthday!

    And Shen Tingbai remembered but he didnโ€™t want to bother her because he knew she never celebrated her birthday. 💔

      At first I thought she lied just so she could have a reason to meet him, and then got sad when I realised that it was true 😭 And the reason for her not to celebrate made me even more sad. Tingbai is a real gentleman, so kind and caring of her. Please Manting, notice Tingbai! 😭😭💔

        I thought so too hehe. To be fair though, Gu Yanzhen told her clearly that he wasnโ€™t coming, so she brought that upon herself. She invited the wrong guy. Tingbai would have been there in a heartbeat if only she had thought of him. 😢

          Yes, still had hope (like her) that he would show up anyway since Xie Xiang left him but oh well 😭💔 Really wish that Tingbai would had showed up, but atleast Guo waited for her.

            Yes, I still secretly hoped Tingbai would show up, but he’s trying so hard to let her do things her own way that I can’t help but think it’s her own fault for being alone that day. It was a nice chance though for her to get closer to Guo.

            I really like that Tingbai is letting her do her own tings and is not forcing himself on her. It’s so refreshing from all the typical rich guys in dramas. Also agree that she put herself into that situation. Still hurts though 💔
