I was so disappointed to find Joong-do’s real self, the series lost something for me. After reading through recaps I didn’t watch the last episode. Would like to have seen his son survive. Lotsa lies.
Jong-do’s arc is absolutely soul-destroying – but the final episode is worth watching. Not that it provides any solace for the shock reveal but rather how our heroine finds a landing out of this mass
Trolley – Episode 13, Joong-do is a liar, Seung-hee posts what she thinks is the truth & Hye-joo? Hye-joo as usual does nothing. I’m rather fed up with her wimpy ways – grow a backbone will ya!
Hye-joo doesn’t deserve any of this. every single person -Joong-do and Seung-hee (and her whack mother) -protect themselves shamelessly . I really feel sorry for Hye-joo’s daughter.
Graceful Friends is interesting but a bit slow. Knowing there’s a nice juicy Murder up ahead is keeping me watching. I do love a good murder. So many questions so early, can’t wait for answers!
Searching for Kdrama about young girl, her father’s killer brings her up like his own daughter. She becomes an assassin. Lots of fancy footwork and martial arts. It’s a sageuk. Anyone know the name?
Hello Eazal,
You haven’t spoiled anything, don’t worry. I’ve also watched My Name that’s not it. It’s a sageuk, the girl’s father is shot with an arrow. I have an idea her name could be I-seol, not sure though.
My post has vanished – gone! Kaput! Where! Kdrama Land? Probably. In a Kdrama rut here – suggestions welcomed. Rewatching Juvenile Justice. Help required.
Trolley is so watchable, this is down to our two leads whose performance and chemistry is magical, you can feel the sexual tension, add a dead son, suspicious stranger, secrets & politics – wow!
Trolley: Less than half way into episode 1 and I’m already hooked. First impressions – OH (our heroine) is poor, unhappy daughter, nosey parker customer, OH is secretive. Husband in politics.
Remarriage & Desires about a Matchmaking Agency for the top 1% of the top 1%. Infidelity, murderous mistresses, revenge – a divorcée plots revenge against her ex-husband’s scheming mistress I Liked it
The Glory: I like this series, at episode 4 it has me in its grip! South Korean school students are the most horrible people if Kdramas are to be believed. Who else is watching this? Your opinions?
Kdrama made a faux pas in Touch Your Heart. Episode 9 Yun-seo (Yoo In-na) tells Jung-rok (Lee Dong-Wook) she was in Signal. Actually, she wasn’t – I’ve watched it.
I trust everyone had a very Merry Christmas 🎄 with family and friends or if Christmas 🎄 isn’t your thing a very Merry Day with family and friends. Good food good health Slàinthe! Touch to animate
In Find Me In Your Memory, why doesn’t Professor Yoo want Jung Seo Yeon to be happy? I don’t understand why he should be a sad, tragic figure in Yoo’s mind.
It will sell more books for the Professor if Jung-hoon is this tragic figure doomed to sadness as ‘the man who cannot forget’. Not as interesting if hyperthymesia is just a condition he happens to have and deal with…
Lawless Lawyer Ep 10, Sang-pil and Ahn Oh-joo battle twenty baddies armed with baseball bats in hospital courtesy of Judge Cha moo (they win of course!) and here they are ~ I loved the humour!
Thanks Netsuke for letting me go down memory When the two antagonists in LAWLESS LAWYER above (Lee Joon-gi and Choi Min-soo both at their best) had a temporary suspension of hostilities to join forces in a fight against common baddies they produced what is probably my all time favorite kdrama fight. It was outstanding.
LAWLESS LAWYER (2018) (Viki US) was great. It produced 2 walk ins into the Kdrama Hall of Fame of Villains: Judge Cha Moon-sook (Lee Hye-young) and Mayor Ahn Oh-joo (Choi Min-soo).
Unfortunately I don’t think Lee Joon-gi’s 2022 drama AGAIN MY LIFE was in the same league as LAWLESS LAWYER.
LAWLESS LAWYER question – In ep 8 Bong Sangpil & Ha Jae-yi are on a swing bench inside a heart enclosure. He places the bouquet on the bench, takes out a cake, does anyone know where this place is?
BIRTHCARE CENTRE has the strangest people. Poor Hyun-jin, the nurse who “speaks” for Glue Stick is weird, they’re all weird. I like bottle feeding mum, Miss piddle in the lift isn’t what she seems.
Yes I did, I thought it hilarious but also very warm, as though you were surrounded by love and caring and everything nice. Steel Magnolias had a similar feel to it only more sophisticated.
Title? Two brothers maybe twins? One is a well known author, one lives at home. One kidnapped at v young age. Brother at home has false memories. Author bro comes back home. Twin has emotional problem
Yeah. But if he never had a girlfriend it was because of his childhood trauma (when PMY wanted to kiss him, he rejected her when she was sitting on chair with wheels and she slided away). Lee Tae-Hwan was acting as his little brother who thought he was the one who got kidnapped and became author. The parents never changed his mind because I think PSJ didn’t tell them he actually remembered… But I’m not sure about the details.
I didn’t really like it but it was more because the title was What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim and not What’s My Boss’s childhood trauma. So I would have liked the story to focus on PMY’s character and not him.
What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim is not the one I’m thinking of, which is about a boss (Park Seo-Joon) whose secretary of nine years (Park Min-young) has handed in her notice.
The Kdrama I’m thinking about has two brothers, one of whom is a well known author. He left home in the past but has now come home. This stirs things up at home with his brother and parents. When the brothers were young children, one brother was jealous of the other and witnessed his brother being kidnapped, he acted as though he was the one kidnapped and was allowed to believe that for his health. I don’t remember who was in it either.
Thank you to everyone – youall have helped jog my memory and yes, it was indeed What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim? I should start keeping a journal of Kdramas I’ve watched, it might help me remember!
So question solved.
