Yeah I don’t like him either but I’m not crazy about the president, he’s trying to make the hospital into some cosmetic surgery place with no essential services. But everyone else seems to like him so I feel like I’m missing something
I assumed you were leaning toward the presidents side, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with picking sides I’m only on episode 5 so it’s possible I might end up on his side too, I just tend to be biased towards the doctors cause I work at a hospital
I can only say

Nope…I was supporting your comment. ^^ I guess that didn’t come out haha. To be clear, it does not seem like you’re taking President Gu’s side. Or perhaps I kNow this because I’m following your posts on the show. 🙂
An organization like hospital not only need doctor but they need management to run the hospital. It’s win-win solution from both of them, if it be done as the theory said.
I still on neutral island, I can’t choose one of them. Mr.Gu always said something right, even about the doctor’s mentality, they want to be the best hospital, and Mr. Gu just see that hospital need something to brought up money. Their hospital not public good anymore if they let theirself into corporation. And Mr Gu know that many doctor in hospital that playing dirty.
Mr Gu lack in affection and showing his empathy side, but ut’s not his fault, he just being person from his corporation to reform the hospital management.
I also agree with some of doctors thinking that they are doctor and they need to save people in one place. It’s really disturbing when we walk in hospital corridor or in stair and there’s so many ads in wall.
If Mr Gu and dr Yee can reform the hospital together, it would be so nice to see.
Mr Gu is so charming 😍😍 don’t blame me, I just can’t get enough with his expression. Ah I ship wo jin ah with everyone in this drama, how?
I think this story not exactly about siding with someone. More about human nature and life – all shades of grey and in between.
“All theory is gray, my friend.”)) Ofcourse you still can root for Life characters. But i don’t think this was main point of their existence.
This is not medical drama with good doctors and bad managers (or vice versa) per say but more about what happen behind the top management.
Restructuring in mind, imo this all about open up old closets and wounds + palace Intrigues with style.
But mb the point of the drama is to find a middle ground where prof ethics etc do not have to be compromised for the sake of money :/
Still not sure about that tho..
Woooow did you really just actively decide you weren’t gonna intervene when your future wife is being sexually harassed on the bus? Even if you did end up having some issues that’s pretty low, to know a young girl is gonna be harassed by an adult and decide your PS4 is more important than that. Even if you didn’t want to do delay your date he could have at least stood near her to discourage the guy, damn this guys a jerk
I always forget that Netflix is too damn cheap to buy the rights for the Reply series background music. What’s the point of even having the drama up if you’re not gonna play the right music? It ruins the whole moment
Yeah I was watching 1994 and felt like something was off so I checked Viki and I was right, it’s not even the right tone the character is sad and they’re playing bubbly music ??
Is it even economically justified to appoint someone to replace the music of an entire drama? It surely isn’t a cheap and easy job? Or do they use a free app for it??
I wasn’t even aware in fact, that rights to the soundtrack had to be purchased separately. I thought the production company sells a complete product. And to make modifications, say to the soundtrack, Netflix would need to purchase the right to MAKE a modification.
I wouldn’t be surprised to find the network is the one who only bought the rights to broadcast the song in Korea and then packages an international version for Netflix.
Incidentally, I was so convinced that Netflix has replaced the “proper” soundtrack for Pretty Noona that I went and tracked down a raw version to check. Because, I thought, there was NO WAY that was the music the producer intended (it was).
I’m not sure it’s entirely a question of cost. Maybe it is, maybe they can’t buy the rights for every jurisdiction it’s going to be broadcast in. They’d need to get global rights, basically.
But I do remember that they didn’t get the rights to I Will Always Love You for SWDBS and turned the funniest scene in the show into something not funny at all.
SO annoying! I immediately stopped watching 1994 on Netflix when I realized that and switched to Viki. Now I only watch on Netflix if it’s the only streaming site available.
Sometimes Viki has issues, too. In BTLIOF, other than blurring out some things like Ji-ho’s The Graduate poster and Soo-ji’s Puca doll, they completely changed the song CEO Ma danced to in the streets from Hall & Oates’ “You Make My Dreams” (making it a direct reference to a scene in (500) Days of Summer) to some random Korean song. Good thing I was so obsessed with that show I downloaded the raws and Viu subs to use on first watch of each episode because their subs were up hours before Viki’s, hehe.
I can connect but can’t upload picture for the posts I want to make.
Internet status sites are saying there are lots of issues today. Expect posts from me tonight if things clear up.
Late last night/early morning I was experiencing a slow response time on the site and several images/pictures wouldn’t load. Things seem to be ok right now.

Not all. But I’ve always wondered the same thing.. Like why it’s seemingly normal/required to have the characters either endure in silence or die and that the dying seems romanticized or justified? Maybe I just don’t get it. Or that I hate tragic stories period. heh
But I’ve watched quite a few good ones where they didn’t do that and I absolutely loved them
