        choi daniel looks so fine though we literally see him in like TWO sets of clothes in the entire series. well, maybe FIVE. what a way to cut production costs

          He really is too handsome! Shame he’s not photogenic, I keep forgetting how gorgeous he is until I see him in action lol
          I was kind of salty when they changed his clothes to the 2nd suit. He looked handsome and all, but I preferred the raggedy ones!

            yes the navy blue top!!! I found the blue suit too formal and too prim and proper. bleh. also, not sure if this is another way to cut costs or just for the show to remain realistic, but alot of the other characters don’t change clothes as well. like they wear the same thing across 2/3 episodes. but their visuals make up for all that so it’s fine i guess

May I introduce to you, what I think should be a staple dessert in any party!
Torta chilena: flaky, crispy layers filled with dulce de leche (if you haven’t tried dulce de leche, go look for some!)

        I did a Yelp search and can’t find any torta chilena in the entire Chicago area 😱 I might have to try and make it myself!

          Ahhh, that sucks!! You need some special molds for it (not really special, just thin tin circles) BUT you can try making Mil Hojas which is made with puff pastry instead of the flaky dough of the torta!

    Most of the time I’m not bitter about the dairy allergy, but then I learn of foods like this one and have words with my immune system.

      I’ve been working on a vegan version for *ages* now, but I’m a pain in the butt when it comes to veganizing stuff and won’t be happy until it tastes either the same or really close to the original thing so no luck yet. I’ll make sure to let you know if I succeed~!

        That would be heavenly. I’m the same when dairy-freeing something. It’s gotta be good, like legitimately “would I still like this even if I could eat the real thing?” good, or I don’t want to bother.

        Let me know when you figure out the vegan version ~ have you tried making your own sweet condensed milk using soy milk? It’s worked well for me as a substitute in baking, but I’ve never made my own dulce de leche dairy or otherwise so I’m not sure how it would work…

      My friend is going to have a baby girl and we found out as I was re-reading milk and honey because I’d just found the sun and her flowers so I’ve been bombarding her (them) with rupi ^^

        I did. I was maid of honour, and of course I hadn’t even gotten around to writing a speech until I boarded my flight. Luckily I had just bought M&H for another friend as a gift, so I skimmed through it for inspiration. All the usual poetry for weddings is too saccharine for my tastes, but rupi was perfect.

      Isn’t she? I love her so much, she’s so strong yet fragile, and all her poems hit me so hard!

        Oh that’s awesome! I’ve always meant to peek more into her stuff because whenever I stumble across her poems on Pinterest, they hit me hard. It’s kind of an odd effect, feeling hugged but also punched in the gut at the same time.
