What dramas are you watching? I\’m just coasting through with A Pledge To God and Fate and Wrath. I think my taste in dramas has been very extreme lately – either super light or super serious.
I’m going to pick both of them once they finish airing 🙂
Children of Nobody, SKY Castle and The Last Empress are my current favorite. The Crowned Clown might be up there too.
@katakwasabi@mango@leetennant I was a bit surprised at first that none of you are watching Boyfriend and Memories of the Alhambra but then again I’m not watching those either hehe
@leetennant Ohhh Boksoo and The Crowned Clown are both in my radar and to-watch list, just can’t watch another serious show right now. I can’t stand Bo-gum in Boyfriend for some reason, he’s too… sunny and optimistic?? Idk.
Boksoo is not serious at all. It’s marshmallow and joyfully OTT. The director has whimsy and the characters are fantastic. I really enjoy every episode.
I’m watching Boksoo ! I think it has really lovely, quirky and fun characters in a real world setting. I’m squeeling at Boksoo and Soo Jung’s lovey-dovey and kiss scenes.
I am watching Boyfriend. I’m just not that crazy about it as other dramas I mentioned above. It’s pretty and sides characters are great (Mr. Nam is LOVE !) but it won’t be on my favorite dramas list 🙂
I’m waiting for MoA to finish airing then I’ll binge watch. Since I’m already watching Children of Nobody, I’m not sure if I can use more of my brain cells to understand what’s going there XD
My favorite 2018 dramas: My Ajusshi, Hundred Million Stars From The Sky, My ID Is Gangnam Beauty, What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, Just Between Lovers, and Thirty But Seventeen!
Spotted Jung Kyung-ho in my favorite Korean drama, Sweet 18! It was his first acting role, and he used to be such an extra, but look where he is now. I’m so proud <3
Huh, really really tempted to drop Bride of the Century. It was cute at the start but I got to the dragging parts and now I regret starting the drama in the first place….
Hi, I\’m Jee, and here are a few things about me:
– My favorite Korean drama of all time is Sweet 18; my favorite Korean drama in recent years is Healer
– Gong Yoo is my ultimate actor bias. <3

Look who opened her Dramabeans account after over a year!
The only drama I’m watching right now is Call It Love (probably my favorite show so far this year)!

Children of Nobody and Sky Castle are two of the best dramas I’ve ever seen. But the subject matter is heavy

The last empress is cracktastic but its an acquired taste. You either like it or not like it haha.
Sky Castle is great. Heavy subject matter told in a compelling way.

I dropped Memories of Alhambra. For a number of reasons, including but not exclusive to the female lead making me lose the will to live.
I am watching Boyfriend and I am (mostly) loving Boyfriend. But people are divided on that.
I’m also watching and loving Boksoo, which makes me one of about three people (nobody’s watching, it’s insane).
Finally, I have picked up Cray Cray and the Clown (The Crowned Clown). It’s still to earl yto judge but so far this is a good sageuk.
The reason I mentioned Children of Nobody and Sky Castle is because they aren’t just great shows on at the moment – they’re amazing shows generally.
