Of all the places I have seen in a drama I would like to go to Jeju island and Sokcho, do you have a place you knew nothing about before watching dramas and now what to go there so bad?

    Jeju was planned in my trip in 2020 that I couldn’t do because of COVID19 😭😭😭

        Yeah. I have hopes for the next year!

        I already went in Korea but it was 2 weeks in Korea and Japan. This time, we will visit only Korea with Jeju.

        I think I never walked so much in a city than in Seoul.

            In Korea, the food!!! 😀

            Otherwise, I liked Seoul (but I want to visit more), Gyeongju (there are a lot of historic sites and temples and stone Buddha hidden in the moutains) and Busan (but the seafood market was closed >_<)

            In Japan, I loved Kyoto, we can feel the old and the new mixed together. Tokyo is a nice city. I didn't feel like I was in a so big city. There was a day it didn't stop raining and we were lucky because we were in a hotel with hot spring and beautiful room in the mountain. So we weren't disapointed to not get out.

    Mine was Busan, which I visited in 2017. Beautiful city.

    Now, I want to visit the small town of Hometown Cha Cha Cha. I don’t remember the name, but it seems so quaint.

    Yes to Sokcho or Gangneung, anything on the east of the country.

    I love Saltnpaper’s Satellite from Chicago Typewriter and The Black Skirts song Someday from Romance is a Bonus Book and also Queen of Diamonds that was used in the show but not official OST. My newest OST obsession is John Park’s song Nightfalling from Yumi’s Cells. Really, the whole OST for that show is good.

    Listing only one is basically impossible, but to keep with the theme, I can say that one of my favourites is Satellite by Saltnpaper from the Chicago Typewriter OST.

    Stand by Your Man from Pretty Noona!…definitely not lol

    There are so many good OST’s it’s hard to pick even a few favs haha. One that stands out for me though is Wendy’s OST from Touch Your Heart, because I lost most of my interest in the drama after they stopped playing it 😅

    Rainbow by Vincent blue from My Ahjushi. If I want a background song for my life it would be this. Makes even driving profound.

        Please watch the drama if you can. Nothing has ever topped that drama for me. Another haunting song from that drama is Grown ups. That’s the song that made me watch the drama.

    But yeah. It’s too hard picking just one song. But I agree with Nightfalling. One of my current faves. OST albums from Goblin, Because This is My First Life, and Another Oh Hae Young also have most of my all-time fave kdrama songs. ☺️

      Even my husband puts on the Goblin soundtrack for good background music when we’re at home. It is so good from end to end. I like the other ones you mentioned, too.

        Welcome to Dramabeans I hope you have confirmed that this is indeed your tribe. I look forward to exchanging views on the dramas we love.

        I am loving being part of the tribe too people on here have a great sense of humour and I am learning so much from the people who have been on here for a while. It’s a great place to be and I have added loads of the recommended dramas to the watch list. I have also started to watch dramas weekly now rather than letting them finish airing to binge watch as I love to engage in the weekly recap comments section. Have you always been a weekly watcher or do you tend to binge?

        I hope you get to visit the sun and great scenery back home sometimes especially now it’s safer to travel again. Hopefully you have also toured Scotland with its beautiful countryside as well as other parts of the UK.

          I am a binge watcher!!! I like to watch dramas when I know they have a happy ending (in this period I need to play safe XD), only when I watch them with my sister I watch them weekly.

        I remember my trip in Edinburgh in Winter and I found that the sunset happened way too soon! But the colors (sky, grass, sun, etc.) were strong and beautiful 🙂 Their fireworks for the New year Eve was great!

        omg, I call myself HB’s biggest fan and I missed this movie? It must have been when I was in my “I don’t do zombies” phase, which kdrama completely wrecked 😆 This movie is on Viki!
