Guys 25 21 is sooo good!!! It’s been so long since I was this exicted for a drama. Everything was a bit meh for me these days. Praying and hoping that the drama remains good till the end and I sustainmy interest throughout the run.

Day 8: Drama beanies convinced me to watch
So this is my first contribution to the year round up. Because I owe all the beanies a lot as almost all the shows that I watch are actually the ones that many beanies are squealing over. They have lead me to watch so many dramas like my most loved ones this year : Run on, Vincenzo, Yumi’s cells, Lost, The Red Sleeve, Move to heaven, Navillera and Mad for each other. Hometown cha cha cha was also watched because I was convinced by many but I did’nt that as much as I loved the above ones. So thank you beanies for giving great advice and always being there for any drama advice. So happy to be here. And now after reading all the roundup posts I’ve got some new dramas on the watchlist: You’re my spring, Mr. Queen, On the verge of insansity…oh I’ve forgotten the rest. I’ll update later.

Hey guys!!! I took a break from db and thought of taking a break from kdrama after hp2. But dali brought me back here. I wanna squee with you guys again. And looks like there are a few shows that are drawing my attention. Thinking of starting yumis cells and human disqualification. Can\’t wait for the next episodes of dali and gamjatang.

Right now there is a jung hwan sized love in my heart after finishing reply 1988. Honestly I regret watching the last episode because now I\’m missing my family like crazy as right now I\’m in quarantine alone. Been so long since I cried after watching a show. The last scene where deok sun comes in taek\’s room and finding her friends there made me cry ugly tears and reminded me of Titanic where the ship comes alive in Rose\’s dreams. Bit overfetched I know but still that was what I was reminded off. Will miss the ahjummas and ahjusshis. They were my favourite.

    i can relate.. i marathoned it immediately after it ended.. that intensified the emotions beyond normal intensity

    i cried ugly too in the last scene with those guys back in the room as her narrative ends

Really enjoyed this week\’s episodes. I laughed and swooned like anything. You guys are lucky that I don\’t know how to gif or I would\’ve spammed the fan wall with the kiss scene.

Oh my I\’m so terrified of starting reply 1988. I know I\’ll like it but what are those long af epiosdes. Maybe I\’ll just think that I\’m watching a 50 episode weekender. This is reason why I did not watch the 94 and 88 reply series eevn though I love the 97 series to death.

      Lol true!! I’m starting to hyperventilate just thinking about watching 20 90 to 110 minute long episodes. But I already cried in the 1st episode and I know I’ll continue it for sure. 1 down 19 to go!! Yay.. maybe I’ll watch it an episode a week.

    This is my only problem with 88. It was hard to finish 94 so when 88 had even longer episodes, I just couldn’t do it. Also the reason why 97 is still my favourite Reply. It had a full story in mind and showed it to us without padding.

    Oh, the episodes are long but beautiful enough to make me wish they were longer!
    I wish I could erase my memory so I could watch my dearest 94 again( I still do though)

    Well don’t watch a whole episode in each sitting. I dislike long episodes too, but R88 is very slice-of-life and it is quite easy to pause watching at any point during the episode.

Junho will be released in 2 days and suddenly I\’m getting all the JBL feels. But I don\’t know what I\’m waiting for. It\’s not like I\’ll be seeing him in a drama as soon as he is out.

I want more of lee do hyun!! Any recommendations? I watched HDL, sweet home and 18 again. I have resorted to watching running man for him. He has a very short filmography. How about still 17?

    I liked Still 17 and LDH does have a role in that, although it’s pretty secondary.

    He also appears in Beyond Evil. Cameo role from time to time as young version of one of the leads. I have to say, even if this is just a cameo role he is killing it.

Just completed the 1st episode of Sweet Home. And I\’m again smitten by Lee Do Hyun. What is this man doing? Or is it just me? I\’m afraid to complete this drama. What else will be left of him to watch?

    I saw his potential in Hotel del Luna and he was phenomenal in 18 Again. I do hope we see him back in Kdramaland soon!

Guys anyone watching 18 again. I\’m currently at ep 3. I did\’nt think that it would be this entertaining and fun and made me realize why I loved the original movie so much. I don\’t know why I startedtthis late. I thought that it would be more melo and heavy. But they are doing an amazing job the whole show is light but some heart tugging moments are sprinkled throughout. And lee do hyun is doing an amazing job. Some one called him a little ajusshi and it is so apt for him. I\’m cracking up whenever he yells yaaa at his daughter. I\’m so excited after a long time.

Hey any kim dong wook recs? Just now finished Find Me In Your Memory. And I have fallen hard for his cute boyish but sexy smile. And I want to see it again. Drama itself was okay chemistry was good but KDW rocked the character. And the show lived up to its original name Memiors of the man. FL character growth was not there in the latter half and I felt that she was undeserving of our cute patient ML. And the separation was so idiotic. But I forgave the drama for giving some cute scenes in the last episode. The ending scene was perfect.

    Seconding Special Labor Inspector Jo, adding The Guest, but only if you can handle horror. Both have excellent ensembles with KDW at the heart. I really like how versatile he is and appreciate that he’s been taking a variety of projects.

    The separation ruined the drama, to me. It was very nice, even if it had so many villains.
    I liked the FL, but to have the separation she acted out of character…

      Yes I was not liking her much from ep 14 but decided to overlook it but the last separtion was forced and plain stupid which was not in line with her character and made me hate her.

        Yes. And they had promised to not separate that way…
        Then their reunion was ridiculous, but it was fun that they themselves (if I remember well, KDW himself) said it was ridiculous.
        Did you know Ha-jin has a fake Instagram channel? It is managed by Moon Ga-young. It’s fun, you can recognize events that happened in the drama watching her photos.

It ended. Someone please make a guide on how to move on from Run On. Such an awesome finale. Jam packed but never felt rushed. Love you run on will defintely miss you. I think I\’m still in denial.

So I was thinking of starting Sunbae, don\’t put on that lipstick as I\’m a hige fan of noona romances but looking at the way beanies are freaking about I\’ll give it a miss. I trust fellow beanies!!

    They didn’t like the first two episodes of Run On and look how much love it gets now. I didn’t watch it yet but maybe later.

        I loved it from the first episode but I remember the fanwall at that time and many were in disbelief.

        My first thought after seeing Won Jin Ah was It’s time for me to rewatch Just Between Lovers. It’s been a long long time and I’m craving for witty grandmother and beautiful story of coping with loss.

      Yes you’re right but I had already read the synopsis and I did’nt find it that interesting. But if it picks up then I’ll definitely try to watch it. And run on had other things going for it atleast for me(cough*Im shi wan* cough)

So currently I\’m watching Run on and rewatching My Ajusshi with my mom and both shows are making me want to rewatch Misaeng. Even my beanie level is Jang Geu rae. Maybe it\’s a sign from dramaland.

      Okay maybe I should persuade my mom to watch with me after we finish MA. Recently saw some clips of Misaeng and Im shi wan looks like a baby in that drama!!

        Go go go! It was my first rewatch of Misaeng with minimal skips and lots of actors are making their names now. Kinda fun to see the ‘green’ versions of them.

          Right!! Even a rewatch of my ajusshi is giving me a different set of feels from run on and is distracting me. Again went back to listening MA OST. Will watch Misaeng after completing run on.
