Thankfully, yesterday, all of yesterday's Kdrama lineup was officially not preempted and survived due to one of the worst and deadliest South Korean aviation accidents in history (Jeju Air). But IDK if this week Kdrama schedule's (December 30, 2024-January 5, 2025) will be affected and will be preempted.

My dearest condolences and prayers to all the Jeju Air victims who just those who still mourned.

So far, there's no news on drama pre-emptions... but variety shows were pre-empted over the weekend and most if not all the end-of-year award events that were supposed to take place this week have been cancelled/postponed.

What's sad about this disaster is that the pilots could have managed to ditch the plane down further in the fields with at least more than half of the passengers surviving. But thanks to that stupid wall, It made the situation even worse than it should have.

Two years of subpar Weekenders damaged the brand and that is why IRON FAMILY is not getting the numbers that it should. How good? Two actors have been nominated for Daesangs. That good.

The best family weekender in recent times. I now count myself a member of the Iron Squad here in DB. The rating could have been much, much higher.
