Drama viewership ratings for the week of December 2-8, 2024

It’s been an unprecedented week for South Korea and drama ratings naturally took a hit, with viewership numbers dropping for all our listed shows compared to last week – except for Lady Ok. The political uproar also led networks to pivot their weekend schedule, pre-empting some dramas for special news programming instead.

I think the ratings will continue to rise for Lady Ok, as serious saeguks, especially a female-centered one is rather popular. Good job, JTBC....

Me too..I am glad to see it doing well in Korea and the audience certainly love lim ji yeon in a saeguk drama. JTBC will have another hit after Samdari and Virtuos Business this year (more than 5%)

Thank goodness The Tale of Lady Ok and Love Your Enemy get to air episodes this weekend.
Very decent ratings especially for the Lady Ok.
We all have to wait for the next episode of When The Phone Rings. 😭

The three major networks basically cancelled the weekend.
At least IRON FAMILY aired but is still not getting the love that it deserves. That is a shame as these episodes were crucial starting points for the coming upward arcs.

I usually wait until all the episodes drop before I start a drama, but for some reason Iron Family hit all the right comedy/drama notes for me when it comes to characterization. What a motley family crew they are, yet they grew on me. So am playing the waiting game....but impatiently, while clenching my fists, vowing not to fall again.
