Reasons to watch: I would have preferred to see these two on my screen in a rom-com, but hey, I’ll also take an unsettling mystery-melo that’s just screaming MOOD. Gong Yoo’s “new bride” is Seo Hyun-jin — a professional one-year wife. But like I said, it’s not a rom-com setup. Instead, there is something more ~mysterious~ going on involving the entire situation, which is said to take a deep dive into love, obsession, desire, and heck this is Netflix so probably murder, too.

TL;DR: The contract marriage between Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun-jin is related to the eponymous trunk, and as long as there’s not a body in there, we be good

Thanks for the repeated reminders that this is *not a rom-com* and if we expect a happy ending - obviously we haven't been paying attention. 😅 Sigh, now I'm scared ... slightly. But it *is* a K-drama so perhaps we will have a spoonful of romance and seeing Gong Yoo will automatically put a smile.on our faces, so that takes care of the com. Isn't it.
