I am most interested in the New Classic Project remastering My Name is Kim Sam Soon and I'm Sorry, I Love You. I wonder how they will compress the stoey to 6-8 episodes.

Looking forward to Lee Dong Wook's new drama with Kwang Soo and Lee Joo Bin.

Absolutely here for Serendipity’s Embrace!

Also possibly here for these compressed classics? I’ve heard intriguing things about Kim Sam Soon but never intriguing enough to go for it. But just a handful of episodes? Definitely interested.

No but seriously, how is Kim Young Dae getting roles after roles ? When does he even have the time to shoot them 😮😮
He is like Akshay Kumar of South Korea

Remastering by enhancing the picture quality and cutting the padding what’s not to love?

I am also looking forward to seeing how the next batch of romances play out. I hope we are on a roll with normal people falling in love having arguments and misunderstandings but eventually walking off into the sunset and nobody dies.

„… and nobody dies.“ 😅 Word!

Also excited for the romances, so many potentially good ones on the horizon! Though the „fantasy“ label has lead me astray before. It could be good, or it could crash & burn. 🫣
*cue ominous flashbacks to DWY*

🤞☕️

Oh I like your thinking! Normal people and sunsets and nobody dies (cause the serial killers have all been kilt!)

1) They love their divorce theme Kdramas...

2) Not sure about this pairing.

3) But the ML is Kim Jae-Young, not Lee Kyu-han, I think.

4) This kind of bang should be forbidden! Tuesday slot following

5) I don't specially like this trend to reboot everything... I agree that old dramas have a lot of fillers but sometimes it's their charm too.

Kim Young-dae is 28 years old. Why is he in a school uniform?? Perhaps it is a plot point. He’s an older man trapped in an amusement park after dark, forced to solve mysteries with meddling kids.

Byeon Wooseok 33 years old and still wearing school uniforms. Park Shinhye 34 still in school uniform. Choi Hyunwook 22 playing a 30 year old chaebol heir and Team Leader in his upcoming drama. The mystery of kdrama age logic.

They are not playing themselves so the sky's the limit right?

Not really...it would be far better to choose an actor who is visibly believable as a teen. 🤣

This is true. But the way some dramas defy all logic makes us good at defying lots of things! I have indeed cringed when seeing some of them playing teens!

3

Or visibly believable as a 30 year old. But I guess nothing beats Jun Jihyun and Song Hyekyo playing 20 year college students at 40.

3

I for one like it when actors play their younger selves. I wouldn't mind if they play themselves as middle schoolers 😄

4

Or a teen who is visibly believable as an actor. (Sorry, Kim Young Dae fans, couldn't resist..)

2

And my list grows longer.
Lee Dong-wook Lee Dong-wook Lee Dong-wook!
Shin Se-kyung- I like her so I'll try it out
The Judge From Hell-sounds good on paper. Try it you'll like it.
Kim So-hyun and Chae Jong-hyeop and I'm in!
Remastering? Not sure about this but the ones they are remastering are some of my all time favorites so I'll have to check them out.
Perfect Family? No such thing so let's have mystery and mayhem and hope someone comes out alive!

I translated the first few scripts of Judge from Hell and it was really entertaining. Female lead will be key to making it work though.

Is it weird that the first thought that came to mind when seeing Lee Kwang Soo & Lee Dong Wook could be in project together is they would promote it on Pingyeno (Yoo Jae Seuk's youtube show) haha

Divorce Insurance: The thing that stands out to me in the article above is the Lee names! It'd be interesting if indeed the rest of the cast are also Lees! 🤭

Looking forward to seeing Kim Jae Young in his new drama. I love him in that 2019/2020 KBS weekender with Seol In Ah.
