My sweet mobster - I hope they break through the 3.0 before the end. The auditors seems to be consistently climbing each episode I wonder if it will make 10 before the end of the season.

I agree about My Sweet Mobster...but stopped watching at episode five because I liked it too much and want to savour more of the fun by binge-watching it after it's done. Um Tae Gu and Han Sun Hwa together are too delicious to have to wait every week for the pleasure of watching them. Instead, I decided to finally see "My Strange Hero" (2018) which still holds a **9.4 rating on Viki after airing six years ago. Surprised that I'm enjoying it so much (at the half way point) because I remember reading the Viki synopsis about school bullying & betrayal which made me pass it over; however the drama isn't as harsh I thought it would be. There's good humour and bonding in the 'poor learners' class along with lots of teacher angst in a privileged private school. Yoo Seung Ho and Jo Bo Ah make the 'frenemies to lovers' OTP believable, and wow, Kwak Dong Yeon is doing an awesome job of going against type as the High School Director. He's usually plays so amiable, as he was in 'Queen of Tears', but in this one, he is w-o-u-n-d-e-d. Great out of the box acting for him. Hopefully this longer drama keeps up with itself and doesn't stumble over repetitious feet. But after this appetizer, I'm excited to get back to 'My Sweet Mobster' for dessert.

I had the same idea initially...wait til the Sweet Mobster was finished then savour it. Alas, I couldn't wait. It's also been fun to watch with the Beanies every week. You are going to love it when you finally have your dessert! 🥰

There’s no way I can wait to binge My Sweet Mobster … to the extent that I’m now watching other Uhm Tae-gu’s works in between. Just finished Night in Paradise - which is nothing sweet but - yet that makes me even want to watch more. His acting is magnetic - maybe starting Save Me 2 which is not widely watched here in DB but all comments universally point to his excellent performance. So many dark roles of him that we are fortunate to have My Sweet Mobster as fallback.

My Sweet Mobster is #1 worldwide on Viki. So even if isn’t getting the highest ratings in Korea, it is doing well internationally.

There are fewer dramas currently airing, but there is another one premiering today, and it is not on the list here, i.e. Tarot, on U+

If its not aired on the traditional tv channels then it will not have the usual tv ratings. Streaming channels has their own way of gauging viewership.

MY SWEET MOBSTER is getting more love- and deserves even more love.

Our weekender is languishing comparatively speaking. Why? If your main target audience is older women hen making one of your villains a horrible manipulative sociopathic mother to your female lead is probably a mistake. Was there a contest to see who could write the FL the worst mother? The previous weekender also suffered from having an awful mother to the FL. How did network management let this slip past? Dramatically this show has been far better than its predecessor in the sense that the plot keeps clipping along but this particular aspect of the show is probably hurting its ratings.
