Eye-catching first posters are out for JTBC’s new rom-com My Sweet Mobster (previously The Woman Who Plays), showcasing the once mob boss Uhm Tae-gu (Hometown) who is now living the ~~Barbie~~ clean life, and kids content creator Han Sun-hwa (Work Later, Drink Now 2). Also starring Kwon Yul (Longing for You), the series premieres on June 12, following Frankly Speaking in the Wednesday-Thursday slot. [MBC]

Yoo Yeon-seok (A Bloody Lucky Day) and Chae Soo-bin (The Fabulous) have confirmed casting for MBC’s new series The Number You Have Dialed. Based on a webnovel by the same title, the romance-thriller is currently slated to broadcast this winter, with PD Park Sang-woo (The Forbidden Marriage) at the helm and scripts by Kim Ji-woon (Melancholia, Doctor John) [MBC]
It’s a busy week for JTBC with The Woman Who Is Different by Day and Night also dropping their first promos, revealing an adorable Lee Jung-eun (A Bloody Lucky Day) as our two-bodied heroine who transforms at nightfall into Jung Eun-ji (Work Later Drink Now 2). Airing on weekends starting in June, the fantasy rom-com is penned by Park Ji-ha (Good Casting) with PD Lee Hyung-min (Showtime Begins, Strong Woman Do Bong-soon) directing. [Sports Donga]

With the countdown ticking close to The Midnight Romance in Hagwon’s arrival, tvN released an extended teaser of highlights and it’s nice to finally see some of the supporting cast who star alongside Jung Ryeo-won (May It Please the Court) and Wie Ha-joon (Gyeongseong Creature). The series will be premiering this weekend on May 11. [JTBC]
A new teaser has also come out for MBC’s black comedy Bittersweet Hell, where the mystery deepens for our four main leads: Kim Hee-sun (Remarriage & Desires), Lee Hye-young (Big Bet), Kim Nam-hee (Chicken Nugget), and Yeonwoo (Numbers). Launching later this month on May 24, production is being led by writer Nam Ji-yeon (So I Married an Anti-fan) along with PD Lee Do-hyun (Doctor Lawyer, She Knows Everything) and PD Wie Deuk-kyu (Mobius: The Veil. Preparations are also underway for tvN’s Player 2: Master of Swindlers, with our swindling crew gathered in a new group poster as they gear up for the new season’s con. I think that the title change and the posters for My Sweet Mobster is an A+ great choice - it looks wacky and I LOVE IT. The Woman Who Is Different by Day and Night might also end up on my Watchlist.

Yes, My Sweet Mobster looks fun with two credible leads but Kwon Yul as 2ML again?!? His cameo turn in Frankly Speaking is so lovely that makes me crave for his scene.

Great to see that "The Woman Who Plays" is not only confirmed, but we also got an airing date! :) really interested in this drama.

i remember all the stills and photos from this being very bright, with light hues, so the first poster especially kinda stunned me with the darker hues XD
