1) With Hide, Wonderful World and Nothing Uncovered, I'm little bit scared to mix or be bored by the same kind of story.

2) Seeing Joo Ji-Hoon like this, it reminds me The Man in the Suit aka Reese in Person of Interest :P

I read that Han Hyo-Joo was casted to do a rom-com movie with Shun Oguri (Netflix). I love both of them \o/

Ji-Hoon Oppa would definitely be able to play this type of the role to the hilt. Now that you've mentioned PERSON OF INTEREST, I'll be watching this drama while paying attention to whether his character is as great as Reese's character. POI was a first-rate Sci-Fi Thriller series.

God I loved Person of Interest so much... And tbh does Reese count as an oppa lol

And wow, Shun Oguri and HHJ? The cross cullural collabs keep coming...

If Reese is older than you, then yes, he does count as an Oppa, the actor is over 50 now if that helps.

In French, it's Les Émotifs anonymes (The Emotional Anonymous). I wonder how they will adapt it by adding the difference of nationality.

John Reese in Person of Interest looks great in suits! I can definitely imagine JJH looking similar to him.

How bad is it that the only one vaguely appealing is about a vasectomy? I have seen previous dramas tackle sensitive issues and they tend to go for crude so it’s highly likely this will be a rapid drop from the long list as more info/trailers come out.

I'm definitely watching Dontaksu. The actor already drew me in. The premise sealed the deal. I know it is not an easy subject but I'm all for the com in the mel.

Very wise to only have 2 episodes. Trying to recall ever seeing something of this topic before. Hummmm. My bet is man meets true love at vet- she wants kids. And she has a girl dog

I agree a short and sweet drama with a reason for the decision and the challenges he faces. I assumed he was married already had children or they had decided not to have them and it was an ‘easy’ form of contraceptive but the fears of pain or potential complications, reflections on his identity and the negative comments he gets from others all lead to him questioning the decision as the date approaches. He thought the operation for his dog was the responsible thing to do but now he is facing a similar process he feels sorry for his dog.

who becomes bodyguard to biotech CEO Han Hyo-joo (Moving)

After seeing her in Moving, I can't picture Han Hyo-joo really needing a bodyguard :)
But if she's a biotech bigwig, maybe she can bio-engineer some superpowers?

Reminds me of a scene late in Touch Your Behind.

She was doing fine without one in HAPPINESS as well (to the point of other characters regularly needing a bodyguard to protect them from her). Impressive, right? If anyone told me a decade ago she would become a poster girl for action FL, I'd laugh in their face)))

HHJ has consistently done action throughout her career tho? Love 911 and Cold Eyes are both a decade old. This isn’t a new genre or a new image for her…

Yes! Both are movies - she shifted her focus to Chungmuro after Dong Yi for the most part with only a few dramas here and there. Cold Eyes has Jung Woo-sung and Junho (it’s decent!) and Love 911 has Go Soo (pretty meh).

These are a good list of upcoming dramas with veteran actors as leads. I am most interested in Blood Free with Joo Ji Hoon and Han Hyo Joo.

The next is Hide with Lee Bo Young and Lee Moo Saeng.

Hopefully both will be good!

Vasectomy in a short comedy drama? In a way, I am interested in how this topic will be presented. Will the drama even mention that Korea has the lowest birth rate in the world? Will this vasectomy take place or not in the drama? That is the question.

This is just great! We need more shows as such, to make sure SK will disapear in a few generations. No problem, I hear the japanese are begging indians to come and work for them, so maybe people from pakistan will come to SK and the past problems between the two countries will be solved. 🤣
Interesting that men have always been compared to dogs and what do we do to male dogs? That's some fantasy that I assume this brand new female writer has. I don't think the show will mention the fact that SK has the lowest birth rate in the show because, as I have read, the ML has already THREE KIDS ( how dare he!) and he commited the crime to have ANOTHER ONE on the way because the wife is pregnant. To make the analogy complete, the dog is the village casanova and that is why the villagers need him to be fixed. There you go SK, get your married men fixed cause the unmarried ones are solved.

I dunno, I don't think it's an individual's responsibility to solve their country's low birth rate, especially when there are systemic factors that said country needs to address

I am all for systemic factors to be addressed. I think that women should be protected and supported to choose what they want to do. We, as women, posses the miracle of God, creator or whatever you believe in. We get to make a new living human, something that the scientists cannot and hopefully will never be able to do. I believe that women should be given special treatment and choices in life. You see, I am a more feminist than you guys think I am. But I am also a humanist and believes that children should be raised in the best conditions especially in their first years that are so important in life. I believe that if one chooses to have a child, the mother's role is very important so she should be given all the help that she needs to raise that child. I think that in all this radical feminist movement the children are the ones that are forgotten, they are given the least considerations by women especially. They are seen as a burden, as something inconvenient, as a chore, something to be thrown away and disregarded. Or not have at all.
Now, if the modern discussion was still about how to help the women in their journey, from house chores to career opportunities after having kids to whatever it will improve women's life, I am all for it and I am the biggest supporter because I have been there and struggled and I had it very hard. I have not talked at all about the misogyny I have faced in my life, from my family, school or career. Maybe I will someday. But I chose to understand it and forgive it and to not hold grudges or any hateful feelings even with my parents. But the disscusions have moved and crossed the line so far in the past years that the ultimate logical end of it is just as terifying as the Joseon era to me. Because we will not stop here, this is just the beginning if we somehow do not step back a little. The conversation is not how do we make women life better while also having a family, the conversation is how do we make women hate men and not have children. If more women are made to believe that they do not want to have children, than there is no need for systemic factors to be address when it comes to motherhood. If women are made to believe that the nuclear family is evil and end up to not want to get married, than there is no need to address women's rights in marriages. They, the governments that are run by globalists, do not want to adress it so who will make them? Do you think they are scared that the population is not growing or that there will be less south koreans for example? No, its an excuse for them to bring others that are less paid and can control easier. And I am afraid that women will continue to be underpaid and worse treated because each day our freedoms are being taken away without us noticing.

You make many good points here. Clearly what is needed is a lot more thinking than has been done rather than knee jerk reactions and general thoughtlessness which has been the default setting until now- regardless of where you fall on the political spectrum. There is a total lack of wisdom on all sides- and it is not simply a matter of reaching a compromise either because a
compromise of irrationality does not equal rationality.

Aww a vasectomy and a neutering. I wonder how that story is supposed to play out. Is some projection gonna be at play?

Ooh, a bodyguard drama? Will there be a romance? I immediately thought of the mystery-romance I'm watching, Koisuru Keigo, which features the bodyguard trope.

Bet JJH will still look very much gorgeous even when he eventually ages to play those bearded scheming ministers we all love to have...

Now the biggest question is whether this drama will disappoint us greatly by not including the widely anticipated Forbidden Bodyguard Romance arc or not.

I bet he will look more dashing as he gets older. I am not sure how I feel as I imagine him as a bearded minister.

If writernim decide to forego with the Forbidden Romance plot, I hope she replace it with something better? Is there anything better than that though..🤔

Guess we'll just have to start "rooting for the Empire" then, so to speak)))

Better? Hmm... maybe just him kicking asses, but for bodyguard it's a given already, so probably not.

On second thought, Jo Jung Seok's beard in Captivating the King is a work of art. I would be okay to see JJH sport something similar in a saguek. I will be on his side even if he is the villain 😂

No. 1. Coupang Play’s S/S drama HIDE. This drama is suddenly on my radar one reason being: US availability. HIDE is on Viki US’s “Coming Soon List”. Episode one airs Mar. 23.

No. 4. KBS’s M/T drama NOTHING UNCOVERED. This drama is slowly falling off my radar one reason being: US availability. KBS still has not done the right thing and licensed NU to Viki. I will not resubscribe to Kocowa to watch NU.

Breaking news today:

Jo Yeo Jeong’s episode in the upcoming seven episode TV series TAROT has been nominated for the Cannes Film Festival TV short film competition to be held in early April, 2024 at the Hong Kong International Film Festival. It is quite an honor for her and the production helmed by director Ashbun, whose last drama was HIGH CLASS starring JYJ. She just finished shooting her episode only a few weeks ago so the nomination comes as a surprise. Perhaps it comes from her international reputation as a quality actress. The news was broken by her Philippines fan club social media page.

However, when looking for the trailer I found that there is another TAROT, an upcoming American horror movie starring Harriet Slater, Adain Bradley, Avantika, and Jacob Batalon.
“When a group of friends recklessly violates the sacred rule of Tarot readings – never use someone else’s deck – they unknowingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped within the cursed cards. One by one, they come face to face with fate and end up in a race against death to escape the future foretold in their readings.” This movie opens in theaters in May 2024.
