Returning to Doldam in Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim 3

Awww I missed these guys! Our favorite Doldam Hospital doctors have returned in the first teaser for SBS’s Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim 3.
Working off the same premise as the first two seasons, we’re going to follow the continued adventures of the unconventional yet sage-like Han Seok-kyu (Recipe for Farewell) as the titular Doctor (Teacher) Kim and his misfit band of doctors as they save lives and find purpose out in their countryside hospital.
Ahn Hyo-seop (Business Proposal) and Lee Sung-kyung (Call It Love) reprise their roles as Seo Woo-jin and Cha Eun-jae, the two halves of our enemies-to-lovers doctor power couple. And, among the long list of returners, we also will get to revisit characters like the spunky doctor So Joo-yeon (Seasons of Blossom), chief nurse Jin Kyung (Love in Contract), and — my personal favorite — the cool-as-a-cucumber nurse Kim Min-jae (Poong the Joseon Psychiatrist).
With the last season being such a mega-hit in ratings (pulling in 27% viewership at its peak), it was almost a given that SBS would try to keep the hype train going. But it’s especially nice to see they managed to bring back almost the entirety of the Season 2 cast, which is never a guarantee with these kinds of things (side-eyeing Tale of the Nine Tailed).
Now what does the teaser give us? Virtually nothing besides some beautiful faces, frantic shots of our doctors in the ER, and a super dramatic monologue: “I only focus on one thing. Some might call me crazy. Some might call me dangerous, but I’m only here to save lives.” Sparse as it is, it still succeeds in balancing the nostalgic vibes of the last season and the anticipation for what’s in store.
With the same writer and director duo — Kang Eun-Kyung and Yoo In-sik (Extraordinary Attorney Woo) — attached to this project, Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim 3 will premiere on April 28 after Taxi Driver 2.

Whenever I watch the flickering illuminated letters of Doldam Hospital I am thinking of the lyrics of 'Hotel California':

Im hoping Seo Hyun-jin and Yoo Yeon-seok are at least going to make a cameo or a guest appearance this season.
I loved the first season slightly more than the second.

They may want a continuation story for once so they keep the 2nd season pair. They didn't expecting 1st season was a huge hit so the leads story end there. If you ask me the formula is almost abit identical in both season.
I was hoping a new pair too but hyoseop and sungkyung was brilliant in 2nd seasaon imo so they want to keep them one more season.

Me too. I loved loved loved its first season. I liked SS2 a lot, too. I mean, how could I not?
I even hoped that the OTP in SS1 would make a brief appearance in SS2, but alas..

I found both seasons of this show to be very predictable, but addictive nonetheless. I'll definitely give this round at least a few episodes.

I only watched the 2nd season, so was glad to see everyone coming back from that.
I also binged watched it, so wondering if I would like it watching weekly instead of as a binge.

I'm so excited! Have to say that I'm quite afraid that any show I like/love won't live up to my expectations every time they announce the next season, but I'm so so excited for this one. It's been so long.

I wasn’t going to watch because I got a bit tired of baddies in S2 and I don’t think I would like another season, but… I have such a soft spot for LSK… How can I say no?
