Jo Seung-woo counsels Han Hye-jin as Divorce Attorney Shin
by tccolb
New stills and a video teaser have been released for JTBC’s Divorce Attorney Shin, unveiling more about Han Hye-jin (Let’s Hold Hands and Watch the Sunset) and how she comes to meet our hero Jo Seung-woo (Sisyphus).
Shin Sung-han (Jo Seung-woo) is the lawyer to seek when dealing with a divorce — but he started out in classical piano before moving into the courtroom instead. No matter what life brings, he can always rely on his two friends, Kim Sung-kyun (Grid) and Jung Moon-sung (The Good Detective 2) to wallow or celebrate together.
The new video teaser begins with the camera following Lee Seo-jin (Han Hye-jin), as she makes her way to Sung-han’s office. As timing would have it, though, she walks in just as a grumpy Jang Hyung-geun (Kim Sung-kyun) is complaining that Seo-jin – his favorite radio DJ – is quitting her show.
In the consultation, Seo-jin discloses that she received a divorce notification and wants to do a good job at divorcing. Sung-han responds carefully, explaining that her situation may not allow for a “good” divorce and, in the sequence, we see glimpses of the complications – including her fame, her child’s resistance, and an abusive husband. Remaining composed, Seo-jin then asks what Sung-han defines as a good divorce.
After contemplating on his own, Sung-han finds Seo-jin waiting for him outside his office. She reveals that there’s only one thing she wants and Sung-han replies, “That’s why we need to win this lawsuit, without fail.” Reassuring her that they are going to win and encouraging her to press forward, the teaser comes to a close on their handshake to start the case.
Directed by PD Lee Jae-hoon (Run-On, Chief Kim) with scripts penned by Yoo Young-ah (Thirty-Nine, Boyfriend), JTBC’s Divorce Attorney Shin will be premiering on March 4, following Agency in the weekend slot.

What in the world is going on with dramaland and divorce lawyers right now? And it’s the screenwriter of the hated Thirty-Nine and Boyfriend, oh no.
But at least there’s Jo Seung-woo. Yay? Probably not.

My only wish is that this divorce drama is better than the currently airing one. But at least the current one is not boring, Thirty-nine was a snooze fest all around.

I had totally forgotten that Thirty Nine's writer was attached to this🤦🏽. All that stuck in my head was Jo Seong-woo and Jung Moon-song.
Chebal😩😩 Don't ruin it for me.

Will there be a romance? For professional dramas, I don’t need romance if they are good. But what a waste if we don’t with CSW and HHJ?!
