Han Ji-min to cameo as Jo Jung-seok’s blind date in Jealousy Incarnate
by chickachunga
Cameos are always fun, and this one should be no different. Actress Han Ji-min (Age of Shadows) will be making a cameo appearance on SBS’s currently airing Wednesday-Thursday drama Jealousy Incarnate.
She’ll be playing the woman with whom Jo Jung-seok’s character, Lee Hwa-shin, went on a blind date with in the past. Perhaps she’ll stir up some old romantic feelings in Hwa-shin? Or… maybe not, depending on how that blind date went. With his personality, it could really go either way.
Han Ji-min previously worked with Jealousy Incarnate PD Park Shin-woo in 2015 for the SBS drama Hyde, Jekyll, Me. This cameo would mark one year since her last foray into dramaland, which unfortunately ended up being disappointing; even two Hyun Bins couldn’t save that project. Currently, she’s been promoting Age of Shadows, the first Warner Bros. Korean-language film.
Real-life close friends Han Ji-min and Jo Jung-seok shared the screen in the 2014 sageuk film The King’s Wrath (which also starred Hyun Bin), and now viewers will be able to watch their chemistry in Episode 11 of Jealousy Incarnate, which will air on September 28.

Agreed.
Cameo for that PD? More like he'd want to take out a contract on that guy's life.

If I were this PD, I'd have a restraining order against HB and his fans just to be on the safe side.
I'm flabbergasted to learn that JI is the same PD, had I realized that beforehand I might have skipped a show that I adore. So, lucky I didn't know to make that assumption.

The scriptwriter deserves more credit for the failure of the drama IMO.

With his personality, it's much more likely for the blind date to have gone awry.

Well, I hope her role is not a significant one, as I can't make myself to like her as an actress. She just didn't convince me in any of her roles, there's always something... bland about her I guess? But maybe her real-life friendship with Jo Jung Seok will make her step up her acting game, as the chemistry should be here.
Anyways, I really enjoy Jealousy Incarnate so far, those unexpected funny moments in otherwise serious scenes are my jam!

Thanks to Han Ji Min for I was able to watch such good drama like Jealousy Incarnate. Cho Jung Sok's acting is awesome.
As for Han Ji Min she is one of the few versatile Korean Actresses I've seen so far. Her movies proved her versatility such as the Age of Shadows, Plan Man, The Fatal Encounter et.al. . While Korean dramas have this common denominator were the lead actress may always act cute, boyish or having funky personality. And with all those centered-male lead actor illness, mostly the portrayals of the lead actresses are somewhat have limits which is sad because they were not given the chance to be given parts of the drama that would somehow the viewers will see their richness in acting.

Hope she will be able to stir up some jealousy in GHJ and make realise her true feelings in JJS.

Wasn't there a flashback on Hwa Shin going on a blind date, and Pyo Na Ri getting mad at him about it in the elevator? Couldn't that blind date be Han Ji-min??? Perhaps her cameo would shed light on HS' full side of the story that year before he went to Bangkok and would possibly even reveal that HS was already interested/intrigued with PNR, albeit not really knowing her, that time. If so, I can't wait! My heart's currently breaking for HS, he and PNR should still be endgame!!!
