I got this huge 70s vibe from his weird shirts (so many earthy colours + the wide open collars) and the weird bell-bottom-esque trousers. It gave me nightmares. Such a contrast from PMY’s clothing in this drama.
Here are my thoughts for Start-Up (no recap post yet?): I hope Alex is in the series more (he’s funny), there needs to be more DM and JiPyeong action, and not sure how I feel about new revenge villain
The only way for my heart not to be broken by Start Up is if DalMi clones herself like The Doctor and dates both DoSan and JiPyeong. I can’t decide!! (but might be leaning more towards Ji)
Okay, Start-Up, you are the bright spot in a year full of disappointments (Eternal King), PLEASE do not disappoint me like Her Private Life.
This scene made my month!
This was just pure burnished GOLD. I mean, we knew something crazy was coming with the cousin being commissioned to make the video, but this was so OTT, and way crazier than I had expected! I was clutching my sides.
“tvN’s hit 2019 series “Hotel del Luna” is going to be remade as an American television series” – I am down! But I do hope that it will premiere on Netflix or Amazon, they will do it right!
“You From Another Star” was also picked up by an American production company for a remake, but I don’t think it made it beyond that point because I didn’t hear anything about it afterwards, and then ‘Strong Woman, Do Bong Soon” was also picked up for an American remake and I think it got a little bit further in that it secured a cast but the pilot was never picked up by any broadcasters
After a year away from dramabeans, I am back and ready to dive into the K-Drama world again. This past year I had my first baby girl, and now ready to watch Kdramas as she sleeps
As a volunteer for ‘It’s okay to not be okay’ aka IOTNBO I would suggest you to tune in that drama. It’s on Netflix. Looks pretty. Has dark fairy tales/children’s story book as its theme. And not to mention it stars Kim Soo Hyun and his amazing visuals to serve you some eye candies.
I’ve watched it twice. Once alone and once with my husband and daughter. My husband passed away in January. We had just decided to re-watch it together so it might be kind of hard to watch it right now. I will watch it again, though, because I love the Grim Reaper and Kim Shin’s interactions.
My husband decided to join me in watching ep 3-4 of Perfume, he seemed to like it. It\’s hard for him to get into KDramas sometimes (I think the broom scene was a little too much for him though).
I thought I would be sad that Her Private Life was ending, but I think it’s time. Most everything has been tied up and nothing much is going on now.Loved it,but it’s like two episodes too long almost.
Finished Healer tonight. Wow. What a fantastic show! One of my top favs now! Park Min-young is so talented, I enjoy her in almost everything & her chemistry with male leads is always heart fluttering.
One Spring Night is still not showing up on my Netflix account. I feel like they already know I am watching three other KDramas and might need to slow down. I see you Netflix…stop judging.
For some reason, episode 5 and 6 didn\’t hit the mark as much as the first four of Absolute Boyfriend. Maybe it\’s because I keep reading comments that skew my opinion of the show now? >.<

Is Mr. Queen worth a watch? Or should I wait for a few more episodes to come out?

I watched the first two episodes but dropped and decided to wait a few more episodes and see what other Beanies say about those episodes.

Honestly, one of the smexiest k-drama leads of all time! His only failing, IMO, were those horrendous clothes he wore.

I can see that. It is weird that he wears dress shoes one day and Converses the next. Like…are you trying to be casual or business? lol

Aww I don’t like Jipyeong falling for Dalmi. Can’t Jipyeong continue to be awesome by himself and find family with Grandma, Samsan Tech (+ CEO Dalmi)?
Dalmi is adorable with Dosan.

October 27, 2020 at 3:06 PM
That is true. I think that I just prefer older guys, but Dosan is really good for Dalmi. I just love JiPyeong’s smile…

I’m iffy about this one… Only 1/3 Korean dramas that have gotten American remakes have actually made it to air… The other 2 were dropped or shelved
