Kind of wondering a few of the implications of Ja-yeon being isekai-ed:
– She\’s going to be in a graphic sex story when she\’s a virgin
– She\’s going to be a nutritionist – can she cook?

If it\’s like other otomeisekai stories, she\’ll retain the memories and skills of the character she possessed. But who knows?

    I know this is a rhetorical question, 😆but I do feel like the vibe is different. 🤔

    They didn’t change much, but I feel like the drama isn’t “spicy” as the webnovel poster implies, instead, it feels dreamy.

    But I guess the story itself will change (from what we’ve seen in the drama), since the ML changed. 🤔

          What I mean it’s that the OG ML is Ha Jun. So, since they changed it to Bok Gyu, the story would automatically change. Unless they ignore the drama (NLNG)?
          I’m a bit confused with how the adaptation will go.

            My interpretation of what’s been released about it is:
            – Ja-yeon wakes up in the world of her webnovel
            – She is panicked, and even moreso when she finds out that, instead of Ha-jun, the male lead is now “played” by Gyu-hyun (although still named Ha-jun). Presumably, this is because her ideal man has now changed from Ha-jun to Gyu-hyun.
            – She tries to wake herself up. Meanwhile, Gyu-hyun/”Ha-jun” is absolutely crazy about her… which we know from NGNL isn’t exactly fictional

            Basically, I’m not sure if the personality will change or just the appearance. I’m guessing just the appearance, because I don’t think the Ha-jun in the novel is the personality of the real Ha-jun, just how Ja-yeon idealized him to be in her mind. She does actually know Gyu-hyun, though, so maybe personality-wise the ML will actually act like Gyu-hyun. However, IMO this depends on if Ja-yeon does any additional writing during the rest of the NGNL and/or before the beginning of the spinoff.

            Ja Yeon said only the ending was left, but since the “perfect Ha Joon” image will be gone after this week, I think that maybe she will write an unexpected ending or even want to re-write other stuff.

            I think 2 things will happen –

            1. FL transmigrates into her novel; the novel ML characteristics are what she wrote based on her ideal boyfriend, which is exactly how actual ML in real life is… and also the novel ML will now have real life ML’s face instead of HJ/Secretary… (that’s why we never saw the face in the kitchen scene flashback whereas novel FL was clearly real life FL)

            2. Pretty pretty sure.. the twist will be that it wasn’t just the FL who transmigrated but also ML…

            3. additionally, 😀 … because they have transmigrated into a novel, they are forced by the system to follow character rules and situations for the novel to progress as written….. (so even if ML in real life is extremely naive with women… he may have to turn on the heat in the novel because system will force him to follow his novel ceo character personality traits) (atleast that is how every transmigration novel works)

            @alasecond Yes! I am REALLY hoping that he transmigrated as well! I think that would work the best for the story. Otherwise most of the development is occurring in, essentially, Ja-yeon’s imagination.

      For me what changed the vibe is:
      1. The place and time (somehow the office and night setting makes it look like a sweet story. Maybe it’s the ✨✨✨ …light?)
      2. The distance of their faces + the look/eyes full of 😏
      3. The hand in the pocket (for obvious reasons)

    I wondered how they would change the vibe when she had really liked the secretary for such a long time so that was a very realistic way to kill off those lingering feelings.
    I had to look up Lee Sangyi’s profile when I heard his voice to see if he was in a group and saw he is a musical actor. Such a sweet scene.

      guys!.. go watch Playing with Yoo – Men band episodes… they formed this band where YS got recognized for his singing.. those 4 or 5 ep are hilarious, topped trp, YSY became a craze.. and overall those eps are so funny, wholesme and full on entertainment.. yoo jae suk’s show… the same show also did episodes on Jae suk, Rain, and Hyori as a group.. SUPER FUN!.. That actually catapulted the show to new heights

          I do love their dynamic. Lee Sang-yi is definitely nailing the male romance lead (I know he’s technically the second lead, but his character is far more like a ML than a 2ML in this). I hope this gives him more opportunities in the future.
