Regarding the sohee/hyeri issue, I really empathise with how human sohee appears in all of this, and I especially hate/don’t understand how ryu jun-yeol can ever be referred to as ugly, what standards/ eyes do these people have?

    many people are more attractive because of their personalities…

    in case of actors, their acting and how they are able to carry a character… someone who may not be considered as handsome can become totally swoony as they play a character..

    RJY is not handsome in traditional sense; or JJS who is more on the cute side… but both actors can do justice to any role they play

    on the controversy… as I understand Hyeri’s comment was more on RJY (and she is justified; any ex commenting on ex is ok… apparently she wanted to go to hawaii for the longest time and he always said no, only to go with HSH).. HSH got triggered unnecessarily (or even if she did get triggered it comes across as guilt conscious, the guy has kept quiet in all of this; there can be many ifs and buts)

    i would say both ladies (as long as cheating is not involved) are fine.

    that is surprising.. saw her on one episode of some variety show.. where they basically talked about how smart she is with investments.. she had money, career.. everything..

    or was it wrong.. depession also has triggers.. stress from something.. what happened to her?

      i think she did have depression. she attempted a suicide attempt, and was saved in time by her manager previously. This was after the trial with her ex boyfriend and his attempt to blackmail her with a sex tape, and back and forth accusations of assault.

    Oh no… After Sulli’s suicide, she said she would keep living. Seeing everyone’s reaction to her, I thought she changed her mind and aimed to get better. Seriously, what could she or people around have done to not commit this act as the last thing to do…

    She had some real troubles after the whope ex boyfriend scenario but I thought if she survived that, she will be fine now. I am shocked because it felt like she was happy again, clicking smiley pictures after she was back to Korea following Sulli’s death. But maybe suicide is triggering, I remember Ha Jiwon’s brother committing suicide after Jonghyun’s death but they weren’t related, this is another scenario. I am really speechless, I thought she was doing well… maybe too well, that is where I couldn’t see what was wrong.

      damn.. that’s harsh.. she anyway had to take care of the family.. but now she is literally the only one.. and how hard it must be .. i am sure the guilt also creeps in for remaining family members that they couldn’t take care of their loved one..

      people need to learn to be responsible towards one’s own life as well

        I remember that suicide was kept quite under wraps because suicide is triggering and maybe he was triggered too. But reading about Goo Hara, I think she was also let down by people like Sulli. I know she won the case against her boyfriend but was all the material he had confiscated and deleted? Or did he still have a means of threatening her? Idk maybe I’m thinking too much but she had a really rough time with that guy and she knew he has her videos. But e won’t know the original reason ever. May she RIP.

        I recently watched KING’S DAUGHTER SOO BAEK HYANG (2013) and looked up the actor playing sad prince Jin-moo. It was Ha Ji Won’s brother, Jeon Tae-Soo. He was a good actor, I’m so sorry he’s gone.

I love be melodramatic. I’m so happy this drama is airing, and it’s simply wonderful. I also can’t stop simply listening to the ending song. I have such a big smile on my face.😊

I love the women in sky castle, the fact that they’re intelligent, cunning, devious, funny and most of all strong, especially in an industry where we get few of these kind of women.

I Predict Sky castle will be my best drama of the year. This show is amazing and i love it’s showing the cracks and injustice in the Korean system including the terrifying competition in their educational system, the overwork of medical professionals and the abuse of children on the basis of wanting them to succeed.

    It is looking good for 2019 best of. I really don’t want the show with a cast that stacked to falter.

    It’s funny. Someone was talking about how competitive the system is just a few weeks ago. And I said what I’d learned from Korean school dramas is that they’re all stressed and sleep-deprived and that’s why they’re struggling. That their parents should be telling them to relax and get some sleep. And if they did they’d probably get better grades.

    So I kind of love what this drama is saying.
