Ok, I legit started crying watching this video. It’s been an hour since released and it’s already going viral…
Here’s the story. After Hyunsik finished composing his song, Sungjae was in Hawaii or Guam and on the plane back, he suddenly thought of incorporating sign language in the choreography. When he arrived, he talked to the choreographers and they worked sign language into the choreography. A deaf girl saw the video and posted online about how she cried watching idols. She lost her hearing so she never thought to like idols, but for the first time, she felt like she could listen to music.
BTOB got wind of it and kept talking about it at fanmeetings and on shows about that new fan, and Changsub even began to change his solo part to be the correct version of sign language, not modified by choreography like the group dance. Then, BTOB did Tipsy Live with Dingo and that went viral with 4.4 million views on facebook (+900K on another account), and 1+ million on youtube. So they were invited again, and this is the result.
Today is Peppero Day, a day of romance with fans. But more importantly, today is Day for Physically Disabled in Korea and they made a performance with a hearing impaired fan. And brought the whole fandom to tears.

      BTOB is truly living up to their reputation as “healing-idols.” The lyrics for It’s Okay, or Drawing or Brand New Days or Way Back Home are so healing, and now, they even managed to make a non-healing lyrics song like Missing You healing too.

        It’s Okay is a masterpiece, no words needed. I can relate to so much of the lyrics (well, except the army part). Brand New Days’ lyrics more than healing, is really uplifting, like I feel I can suddenly go on after listening to it. I love Drawing too 😉

    That’s pretty awesome 😀 I’d love to learn sign language one day, but can’t decide which one it should be, since it’s not really one language, but different ones for different verbal/written languages.

So after posting about ABS Minhyuk, I went around looking for more shirtless videos of him just for my own eyes… (Don’t judge, okay? 😛 ) Found and watched this one again and loved how it proved my previous posts with some:
Minhyuk Sungjae bonding moments, including Sungjae wanting to take Minhyuk’s rap parts for the bazillionth time,
Minhyuk Sungjae acting like models on a catwalk,
Minhyuk sacrificing himself and his body for the team
(and other moments like Ilhoon Singing, and BTOB acting like dorks like they always do).

    Well, I’m a fan but I still get shocked sometimes that Minhyuk is a rapper and Sungjae is a sub-sub vocal of the group. It’s just Eunkwang and Changsub and Hyunsik are better technically and at projection. Also, Minhyuk is too good a rapper so that would be a waste too.

      Sungjae’s good. Obviously, since he’s gotten famous from singing shows like Masked Singer and winning Fantastic Duet and also doing well for Duo Festival. But it’s undeniable that when the four of them get together, Eunkwang and Changsub and Hyunsik vocals overpower his. So sub sub vocal is right. As for Minhyuk, yeah, it’s a shame he doesn’t sing more, but BTOB songs would be missing something without is deep sexy passionate rapping so I don’t mind that he’s a rapper.

Sungjae & Minhyuk beautiful beautiful duet for Day 1,

Since today is mom babies day with Beanies, and Minhyuk is the mom and Sungjae the baby magnae in the group. Plus all the feels I got from Minhyuk hugging completely drunk Sungjae, and Sungjae telling Minhyuk seriously not to get hurt.

The cover is close to 2 million views, and Melodies are trying to get it to 2 million views soon so if you could help, all the better. Hee. 🙂

    Usually, when people think, oh, a rapper and a vocalist in the group singing a song together, they don’t expect the rapper to sing, except with BTOB, where Minhyuk and Ilhoon always harmonize with the vocalists like they’re actual vocals. 😂😂 BTOB, a group where rappers are wannabe vocalists, and where vocalists are obsessed with rapping even more than rappers. 😂

      LOOOOOOL. Truth. Silverlight, and Yook Sungjae especially are obsessed with rap. But I prefer Hyunsik deep rapping. And Ilhoon constantly surprises me. I expect it of Minhyuk to be good at singing, but Ilhoon always gives me a shock at how good he can be if he tried.

Those abs are not just for decoration though 😛 😉 He is very famous in Korea for being one of the best athletic idols. 😀

I’ll start Day 1 of his special week with “The Reason Minhyuk Is Amazing” video (which will make you cry. or anyway, I cried watching it :”) ).

It’s a (incomplete) history of Minhyuk’s athletic prowess:

– He won 19 medals (maybe more by the last update) at Idols Atletic Championships, including for sprinting, football, hurdles, high jump and more, and is one of the top most decorated idol and a legend at ISAC.
– He is also a famous Dream Team participant, having won several time, and famously set the record for High Vault Jump of all time.
– He is super flexible and is famous for his Yoo Ji Tae’s Old Boy scorpion pose, and could do limbo up to 60 cm.
– He is famous for doing all sorts of acrobatics and tumbles.
– He has gottena a knee injury after debut, but because of people’s expectations, and because he wanted to help promote the back-then very unknown BTOB, he kept doing tumbles, and kept entering in athletic competitions (and won them) even after getting surgery, even though he was worse than before.

I totally cried watching where Sungjae went serious and told Minhyuk not to get hurt, since Sungjae always jokes around.

    Oh my god. I cried. Never watched this one before… He’s so talented!!! A rapper who can sing. Breaking so many records. But still willing to sacrifice himself for the team. Just like how Sungjae says because he carries the weight of BTOB’s name around, Minhyuk is also the same. No wonder he’s the mom, and Eunkwang the dad, always trying their hardest on shows to promote BTOB’s name around.

      Every member cares about the team. But can’t deny I worry about Minhyuk. Only fans know his knees are injured, but when he’s on TV, he acts as if nothing has changed and still continues smiling. Frankly, I’m relieved he composes songs for the team now, because it keeps him busy so he doesn’t need to go on those physical shows anymore.

    Jackson is so sweet and encouraging of everyone around him. Thanks for posting all these BTOB videos. I never really listened to them before but I checked out Missing You and it was beautiful.

      They also have a ton of upbeat songs like WOW, Self-composed songs like Movie and Missing you, and cute songs (My favorite is Second Confession pajama version), and japanese songs with are really nice, especially the b-sides.

      For dance, dance practice and fancams.

      For their personalities, they have reality shows like Beatcom, The Beat season 1 &2, etc on Vlive and youtube, and the usual weekly idols (I think they have 5 or so). Or for a condense versions, compilations of videos like voice cracks compilation, quiet and reserved idols series, red carpet compilation, sing and rap compilation, instruments compilation, etc.

      and Jackson has one of the most likable personalities in kpop, full stop. I love him.

Ok, so I’m not going to limit myself with fanboys because her reaction is awesome. Eunkwang singing with his mother made the Korean audience cry and I love how she cried too when she watched it. It’s not for nothing their duet won over all the other singers on that Immortal Song episode.

Though my favorite reaction from the fanboy is this one, where Eunkwang sings with his mom on Immortal Song and won the entire episode. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing and kept freaking out 😛
