I loved the friendships and the family vibe it has. This drama made me miss my childhood days and it reminded me of the neighbourhood I grew up in. I’ve watched this numerous times and I still cry at the end. This is one drama I’m really grateful for.

Day 2: the untamed

Although I felt lost at the beginning episodes but it all started to make sense when I finally understood what was happening. After reading the novel I realized that Xiao Zhan really brought the character Wei wuxian to life and I can’t imagine any other person as the yiling patriarch.

    also that much better compared to what he said to his mother years ago “he cheated on you, he abandoned you not me” 🤦‍♀️

      I was always mad because of the way he has treated his mom up til now but this scene made up for it.

      Agreed, it was indeed nice to have him tell the father his part on the divorce however he was also saying the truth to his mom. She the father left them which at that moment wasn’t the truth, he had an affair, which had nothing to do with the son, he never planned to be away from him.

          well it has a twist which beats all possible twists that you may have seen, read , or fantasize about 🙂

          by the way it is delivered fairly in a matter of a fact way instead of twist.. but it is still mindblowing 😛

          It took a while to pick up but I’m actually enjoying it a lot by Episode 7. The first four episodes are just… Nuts. 6 was a bit slow. 7 and 8 were really good imo.
          It’s not the best directed show, and all its pieces are taking some time to come together but it’s pieces are interesting.

    damn!.. if ANY OTHER ACTRESS attempts this line i am pretty sure it would be cringey, the drama would be cringey.. everything would be pathetic..

    BUT i can absolutely envisage YIN saying this and making it cute.. and LDW elevating it with his very serious expressions “I know, I am sorry i shouldn’t be this fit”
