Y’know that feeling where you just see a couple on your screen and you go, holy crap, I ship them, with no context, for no reason other than they’re the most aesthetically pleasing you’ve ever seen?
I have never shipped drama couples in real life even if I like them together as characters but things are turning around in Seven Day Queen. I want these these two to marry and I find it extremely weird that I am thinking this way. Part of the reason is that both PMY and YWJ always have great chemistry with their leads and secondly that the show isn’t letting them be happily married. Moreover we also have Song-Song couple as an example now so it isn’t all that senseless to dream.
Picked up Rebel, and so glad I didn’t when it was airing. Not only would it’ve ruined the watching experience for other airing shows, the wait would’ve killed me. 26/30 episodes already, hoes!
I really fell for his smile.. it’s so cheeky & adorable! and it was soo mean for them to play this scene.. I started to squeal that he made it only to find that it was a memory.. sigh.. I want more Prosecutor Jang instagram posts!
Yasss! Their chemistry is just overflowing!!! The whole drama is like a fan service. Loved them since We Got Married and it’s too satisfying to watch em in this one.
Right?? I felt like just replaying their kiss scenes, and then I wanted to rewatch ALL their scenes instead, and that’s why it took me so long to finish. The second leads were super cute too 💗💗
Omo!!! Same here. Kept on repeating their kissing scenes *shamelessly proud* lol. Awww yasss! And though the story is quite predictable the ending of the second leads is not part of it.
I have SO MANY EPS to catch up on from my short break from dramas, and I want to but My Only Love Song is being hilarious and cute and it just makes me so happy, ya know? 😍😍
What a coincidence! I just binge-watched it today and finished ep20 just like 10mins ago and here I am checking the fan wall to ease what I’m feeling(that moment of silence after finishing a drama) and saw your post! Very entertaining drama indeed. The chemistry of the leads? Extremely on point!
Wow, Circle!?? So many things, but first and foremost, I NEED that corrective eyesight thing to happen to me, stat. This losing-my-glasses thing is getting way too ridiculous.
Omg Circle I thought I knew what was coming but it’s both better and worse than I ever imagined? First, that, and then That, and then THAT and I really can’t wait for finale now!
Like, part of Writing Our Stories goes, Someday, if I meet someone who asks about love, I will tell them all about you and in Hangul it\’s soothing and in English it\’s sappy but STILL.
Boni Pueri\’s Time Walk and SG Wannabe\’s Writing Our Stories was haunting me all tonight tho, I swear. Maybe that\’s how I stayed not teary. Chicago Typewriter\’s OSTs just SPEAK to me??
Today I finallyyy sent my sister off, heh. More peeps came to say g\’bye than I expected. Managed not to cry like the cool-blooded 19 year old I am. Prolly will cry tomorrow tho. Which is like, now.
Suddenly missing CT 😭😭 bc IMAGINE what we could’ve gotten: other girls in Carpe Diem who also got involved; wives, sisters, mothers of the dead members, Hwi-young’s ‘flings’. What could’ve been!
Totally random discovery but whattheheck Lee Seung-gi was only 20 when he did Brilliant Legacy??? Ohmygoddd no wonder my grandma called him a babyface. That name even sticks with me to this day lol 😂
My mutant baby drama: super-strong girl turns out to be reincarnated freedom fighter. As she tries to remember her past, she gets a job as an editor, goes heroing and breaks wristgrabby guys\’ wrists.
Yep!! 😉😉 Guess which one is which? Though tbh, they’re not my most loved/hated of all time, just the ones I have the strongest feelings for at the moment. The finale episodes made or broke both dramas for me because both were otherwise ones I liked. Also, I just really liked this combo 😆
I haven’t watched CT (but I’ve heard good reviews so I’ll watch this weekend). I have lukewarm feelings for Strong Woman (though PSH was an absolutely cutie in that drama). I can’t tell. haha
Ahahah, you should give it a try! I myself watched it solely for Yoo Ah-in’s (beautiful beautiful) face at first and was rewarded with one of the most gratifying finales I’ve had in a while. Strong Woman was okay, but I hated Ji Soo’s character and how he treated Bong-soon. She’s your friend, not your possession! Treat her like one! I also didn’t like the casual violence, but tried to enjoy it for what it was – a non-serious, campy, breezy watch. But! That last episode. I’ll spare my not-so-nice thoughts about what I wanted and what I got. Mostly, my sister loved it, and that was why I even bothered to finish the drama. I didn’t want to spoil her fun. Perhaps it was better I didn’t finish it after all though. Hahah, but now you know which is which!
Yup, I agree. I never warmed up to Jisoo’s character and I’m upset that he was the one who got nominated in Baeksang not PHS as Best New Actor. 🙁
CT just wrapped up last week last week and a lot of beanies seem hung up on it so I’m really excited with marathoning CT this weekend. I mean, I am watching a handful of ongoing dramas (SP, FMW, Ruler, Sassy Girl, Best Hit) but nothing is as gripping as I’d like a drama to be. 🙁
PHS really turned on the aegyo in Strong Woman haha. It was almost too much for me sometimes, although that’s probably the fault of the writing because the character did feel real to me and I would so cringe at seeing someone like that in real life, whatever the gender. I do like how he was allowed to be as giddy in love as the girl he was in love with. As much as it made the both of them to be so gross at times 😝
Yep, this current batch of dramas are totally watchable, but there’s none that really gives me this urge to go watch it now, watch it raw, even, except maybe Circle. CT is not exactly that either, but it’s the kind of drama that just improves the watching experience more and more as you go along, with an ending that leaves you on a high. I also think it’s one of those dramas that are more fun to marathon than watch week by week, especially since that means you can skip a bit of the boring stuff in the beginnning (as I did 😆), so have fun watching!!
A possible catnip of mine: watching good guys lose their shit and terrify the baddies in the process. It\’s no fun if you can\’t scare them a little, right? 😝
Thankfully, my sis suggested/forced me to a good pick-me-up: Sassy Go Go. Mmmm. Not that I didn’t know it before, but I understand her obsession with Lee Won-geun all over again. Ji Soo’s hair tho!
