Beanie level: Eunuch in drag

The small comedic facial expressions we’re getting from Kim Nam Gil in episode 9 are gold. 👍

Enjoying Fiery Priest at the moment. I’ve never seen Kim Nam Gil before so went on bit of a google binge to find out more.

Started watching Fiery Priest over the weekend and was pleased to see its from the writer of Good manager.

Saw this last night and didn’t recognise Gangnam 😳

After mistakenly thinking I had 3 episodes of Your Honor, it finished abruptly. The writer really ran out of runway for the landing. Still I enjoyed the show overall.

It’s been interesting watching the strategic use of CGI in Your Honor. So far the twins haven’t appeared together very often but there’s been a couple scenes that have really sold the illusion of them

Finished watching Psychopath diary last night. Solid ending. Really enjoyed the mix of drama and comedy and the very stylish directing. My husband got caught up in the drama as it went along.

Been watching Your Honor and I can enjoy all the twin shenanigans but I’m having trouble with the trainee. She’s too idealistic and going too far the other way without thought to the consequences.

Ended up watching 5 episodes of Psychopath diary last night. Such an interesting show. Loving the layers and YSY. I‘ve only previously seen him in Mirror of the Witch and 2D1N. Now a fan.

My favorites of his are Flower Boys Next Door and Nokdu Flower. Polar opposite characters, equally great.

Thanks, I was checking out what was available on Viki and thought I might start with Flower Boys next door.

Discovered Defendant on Netflix. What an intense drama and it seems to have a fleet of Trucks of Doom roaming the streets of Seoul.

Yea, once November hits, no more 5HINee songs or any of the members’ solo songs until February of the next year comes, because my heart just can’t take it

I can understand that. I’ve only recently started letting a couple of Shinee songs back in my playlist.

I discovered Walk around the Neighbourhood on KBS and can’t stop watching it. The host is really good at interacting with all sorts of people and shares some of his own memories.

I’m on two weeks holiday and have just found Good Manager on Netflix. I think I’m set. 😉

Up to date with Rookie Historian on Netflix and wondering how dark is the show is prepared to go? I’m feeling like the young Prince is doomed.

I seriously hope not…I can’t never understand why our adorable kids have to pay for their parents’ sins? Watching brotherly love between the princes is so painful now because we all know that their elderly will pit them against each other very soon.

My bet is the Crown Prince dies.

Interesting 🤔 I was thinking that Prince Dowon is doomed because it would reinforce the idea that historians shouldn’t get involved with events.

Started watching Remember, a son’s war, and boy can Yoo Seung Ho cry. 😥
The show even managed to get my husband to look up from his iPad and ask to watch another episode. 😉💪

This show. Nothing goes right for our poor hero, but boy, can YSH act.

I’m 4 episodes in and I’ve definitely got the feeling that we’re not going to get a happy ending. Even if he gets his Dad out of jail, they won’t be able to go back to how things were. Dad’s memory isn’t going to miraculously come back. 🤔😕

Finished Stranger/Forest of Secrets last night. An excellent show all the way to the end. Now giving some thought to watching Life, as I’d like to see more Jo Seung Woo. What an excellent actor.

Jo Seung Woo brought LIFE to the show (pun intended – referring to the actual show LIFE). Watch it!!!

Interesting, I remember when the show came out all the attention went to Lee Dong Wook. It seemed that it starred Lee Dong Wook and this over guy. 😉

It’s now on the watch list.

I have come to the unfortunate realization that I do not think Lee Dong Wook is a good actor. He’s dazzling to look at but in the last 3 shows I’ve seen him in, his beauty (those lips! that build! *swoon*) just wasn’t enough, especially when he’s surrounded be genuine talent. Case in point, LIFE. I re-watched only Jo Seung Woo’s scenes. and would re-watch them again and again.

It’s always interesting when that sort of realisation hits.

Have just discovered Stranger/Forest of Secrets on Netflix. Wow! I can feel my brain having a workout. I’m really enjoying how narratively dense it is.
