Love Next Door
Of course… this Kdrama had a from-childhood-friends-to-lovers trope.

Day 6: This was definitely a case of misscasting
Boa (Marry My Husband)
Poor BoA! Her poor acting for this veteran singer-actress in this Kdrama caused her worst K-drama comeback ever after her last drama was aired 8 years ago (This Week, My Wife’s…).

Her character made no sense at all, and she could do very little to improve it. We all love BoA as the great singer and dancer she is, but acting is definitely not her thing.

Excellent pick. A masterclass on how to convey angst and yearning and conflict and desire and restraint all at once.

Day 1: Your favorite drama
Since it’s December 1 in my country (Philippines), I decided to post not one but two of my favorite dramas this year.
Queen of Tears and What Comes After Love

I have not watched Queen of Tears but I liked What comes after love, specially the acting of Kentaro Sakaguchi and Lee Se Young, the soundtrack and the cinematophy.

Both wonderful choices with couples who struggled hard to be together. 😊❤

Oh no… poor Jeongnyeon for being both a real life backlash and even a criticism for being departing from the original eponymous webtoon on the final episode.

Korean comedy lost in mockery of vulnerable

Popular Korean shows SNL Korea (read: the Korean adaptation of Saturday Night Live) and I Am Solo are actually unfunny and actually not joking this year. What a shame for both shows. SNL Korea recently hit not one but two recent controversial criticism including the Jeongnyeon parody.
