I wanted a bit of a change of pace, so I just rewatched the first two days of Bring It On Ghost / Let’s Fight Ghost. Kim So-hyun has been one of my favorites since School 2015, but I had forgotten just how great she was here. Nobody does aegyo like 2016 KSH. Her character was a perfect match for her 2016 abilities, personality, age, appearance, etc, etc. I think this and School 2015 are her best so far.

The comments under the recaps have a lot of uneasiness about the age gap between her and Taecyeon. I just want to add here that in terms of acting experience she was far his senior. Asianwiki shows her with more than twice as many acting credits then, and her first was 3 years before his.

Considering all the other things going on in this show, I expect it wasn’t a coincidence that sausage is the key food here, and our reaction to her saying that is supposed to be:
“That’s fair. You haven’t eaten his either.”
The non-censored, adults-only version of our kdrama has to exist somewhere, even if it’s only in our imaginations.

    Honestly, as many problems as the ending had, IMO it was still leagues ahead of HPL. So imo the writer’s improving at least

    I’m going to forget the final episode, even if I have to have brain surgery to erase it.
