Now that I finished it, I think I know why I almost dropped When the Weather is Fine.

I reached exactly at the halfway mark, but I just couldn’t bring myself to continue, until like one month later coz I really don’t like to drop shows, lol.

I don’t like the OTP. Their relationship feels so unbalanced. Like IMBA unbalanced.

But I was REALLY into Shim Myungyeo’s story. Jangwoo was so funny too. & that’s how I got to the end.

I’m still trying to snail my way thru this one… I watch one or two episodes at a time only and then take massive breaks in between

Aunt’s story was what kept me in the later part of the drama. Eun-seob, Jang-woo and Hwi were my happy pills.

I loved everything about the show. But maybe I’m too old now, no I’m sure I would love it in my teens, twenties and early thirties. I was always the wierd one among the majority…

I’m ending my review with a picture proof of Lee Minho’s obsession with ponytails.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

That’s hilarious! Can’t wait to see if this obsession persists in his next project πŸ˜€

To people who were looking forward to a proper explanation for anything & everything in this show, I’m sorry for your loss. 🙏

hhaha the meme was gold! TBH I watched it for entertaining value, not to get enlightened so I’m quite content with how it ended πŸ˜€

LOL, I laughed out loud at this. Writer Kim really didn’t even try to make it make sense.

    Haha good one!

Hahahaha that’s the boldest/truest line and she said it twice! Literally telling us watchers get lost I ain’t explaining a single thing to you, boohoo! 😬

I actually had hoped it’ll get better so maybe I can change my mind from dropping it to binging it but wow
    I’m glad I dropped it 😆
I feel sorry for everyone who waste their time on this and for the casts and crews!

There were still some fun bits and cos I had low expectations anyway I don’t mind so much. I think cast & crew are probably fine, they still get paid and it’s probably heaps of money for the actors with the PPL they got >.<

I feel like this is (one of) the most insincere piece of work from this writer & I conclude that Kim Eunsuk & Lee Minho should never work together again.

Twice is enough.

So maybe this should be his reply if he ever receives a casting offer from this writer again.

Thanks to the loud reviews, I scanned thru The King mainly just for the fun & cute moments.

– Lee Minho’s looking good as always but Lee Gon just felt like a younger Kim Shin at times. 😶
– Kim Kyungnam was wonderful, & I recommend his fans to check out Special Labor Inspector Jo if they haven’t done so! 😁
– I want Woo Dohwan in a romcom male lead role soon! 💕
– When Gon was blow-drying Tae-eul’s hair in the hospital, I was actually surprised that it wasn’t a Dyson PPL. 😂
– I love the child actress who played the yoyo child-god. She’s lovely in the movie, Birthday. 👍
– Most importantly, Baby Yeong was utterly adorable!!! 😍

Happier things first. The Alley! As a bubble tea lover, of coz I’m a fan of this brand. So I’m happy to see their PPL~ (I don’t even have to mention the drama name right? HAHAHAHA)

Their Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk is SO GOOD. Yes, coming from someone who’s kinda lactose intolerant. Lol. I had the chance to try it (in Seoul furthermore, last year) when I was given a free voucher, HEH. I only managed to finish half the cup but it’s really darn nice. I love their Peach Oolong, & Royal No.9 Black Tea too!

But I think the best part is actually their paper bags. I thought they were really pretty.

Go try their tea if you haven’t done so! Especially the Brown Sugar Deerioca series! I need to try their Aurora series one day too, hehe.

(It’s Passion Fruit Green Tea & The Alley Deep Choco in the photo anyway)

I never knew that had shops in the United States until I checked their website. I’m looking forward to trying their tea with one of my friends when she returns to New York πŸ™‚

I feel like I’m trapped in a drama. Please send a Maserati so I can leave.

The more BL dramas I watch, the (HELLA LOT) more I appreciate my BL novels.

It’s like… having a two-course meal VS having a eight-course meal. 🙈

(Bless you girls, my writers & authors <3)

Proud to say I have seen this song performance live before, but in the RISE concert, not White Night though. 😐

One of my favorite tracks from the album. 💖

Finally got the chance to catch this year’s Baeksang Awards & congrats to Kwangsoo once again!

His thank you speech was hilarious & I love it. HAHAHAHA!

He really didn’t expect to win since so many sunbaes were nominated along with him, that he asked if everyone was shocked like him too LOL. He was so sincerely apologetic towards the sunbae-nominees, it was so funny. He even helped to promote Soul Repairer when he thanked Shin Hakyun, lollllllllllllllll.

P.S. Go watch Inseparable Bros if you haven’t done so!

I was ugly crying when I watched this movie on the plane. Imagine my face when the co-pilot (an elementary friend of mine) approached my seat and asked me if I’m alright. LOL.

I watched this on plane too, then rewatched it online again when it’s available HAHAHA

Thank god I managed to stop myself from crying on the plane, heh!

Been doing a lot of rewatch recently, thanks to Netflix for adding so many dramas. From Discovery of Love to Moorim School to Reply 1988 to sooooooooo many more.

Untamed was on the list too, & now that I noticed, they did give Lan Zhan the burn scar on his chest too, but obviously didn’t (& couldn’t) explain why & how. HAHAHAHA.

*happy sigh* I just can’t get enough of my BL novels. If only they are readily available in English so I can recommend to everyone. *sad sigh*

Just randomly throwing in a CF that I assume everyone will want to watch. 😛😝😜

Happy Pride Month, beanies! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

I was thinking, maybe we can have a LGBT theme for June along with the drama challenge?

We can share dramas, movies, characters, novels, music or anything related to LGBT? Thought that might be a good idea to share the love, hehe~

Just finished Romantic Doctor 2.

– Ahn Hyoseop looked damn delicious.
– Yang Sejong’s cameo was beyond awesome & it lasted for one whole episode!!!
– Reunion of Ahn Hyoseop & Yang Sejong. 💙

Hope to see Kim Sabu (or Han Seokkyu) soon; take care& be safe, Sejong!!!

So it’s time for Favorite Male Lead for the challenge?

Hua Cheng is the first one who came to my mind. But only TGCF beanies will know why. *cries*

Tell Me What You Saw: You know you have watched too much kdramas when you guess correctly who the baddie is right from his first appearance, based on casting of actor.

Eum Moon Suk seems to be quite successful being a dancer-turned-actor, working with all these sunbaes. Hope to see him soon again!

Then I haven’t seen enough dramas, because I only saw it coming when they began to speak about the handcuffs!

    1
    1

HAHAHAHA after you watched enough, kdramas can be quite predictable at times. this time, it’s the casting of the actors that betrayed them.

i was just suspicious when i saw that actor playing Sooyoung’s colleague. it’s until his conversation with her when he gifted her the sunglasses that confirmed my guess.

*cough*

Untamed beanies, I feel obliged to share this.

One of the many fans’ favorite scenes isn’t it? 😊

You’re welcome, peeps. ^^

Though sadly the manhua didn’t include the part where it touches the ribbon. Fair I would say. Since the drama didn’t have the lips part MUAHAHAHA (I know, if only we could have both, aka go read the original novel! 😉)

I was really looking forward to A Piece of Your Mind since the project was first announced, coz it’s written by the scriptwriter who did On the Way to the Airport. But I didn’t like the drama as much as I thought I would, though I saw shadows of OTWTTA in it. 😕
