I had a quick re-watch of portions recently, it holds up okay-ish now. In part, because there are enough reminders of the time it was set (their cell phones!), I am able to let some things slide. Similar to how I don’t judge classic movies in black-and-white to modern standards.
Oh I love this drama!!!
I watched it for the FIRST TIME in November 2017!!!
I thought I’d hate it and eventually would drop it, but I didn’t. I’m hooked since the second episode.
I know it’s dated, I know some of the trope won’t work today, but I still really really enjoyed it and couldn’t stop thinking about it after it finished.
I understand what people talked about magic in drama after I watched Delightful Girl Chun hyang.
It’s so good to know that people would still like this nowadays, i really loved this drama back then so i understand about this magic and that really what made me addicted in dramas ^_^
This was my 1st ever kdrama, I watched it back in 2007 and loved it, the OST is beautiful, still listen to those songs! I say do it, I recently rewatched it and I realized that I love it the same, still makes me laugh and cry, one of my all-time favorites ❤

I miss “Sassy Girl Chun Hyang” so much, but i’m afraid to rewatch and not like it as much now lol, so i’ll just let this one stay as a good memory.

That’s nice! i imagine i would be shocked at their cell phones hahaha, but as long as the plot continues to be funny then it’s all good.
