“Unless the specific genre is either a horror, crime, or thriller, most K-dramas are intended for all types of audience. If the audience is of a younger age range, there are dramas that are less violent and have very little to no scenes of drug/substance abuse, sex, or gore.”
This is one of the main reasons why I love watching Korean dramas. I find that the time of multi-generations being able to watch the same drama has passed (in the US at least).
I don’t have a special favorite, but for a recent reunion there’s Jung Yu-Mi & Lee Joo-Young in School Nurse Files after doing Live a couple years ago.
I think she gets way more flak and hate than what she deserves. Which i guess is directly proportional to her popularity. There are tonnes of other bad acrors but since she has made it and is also liked, she gets way more flak. I also think that with the right director, Suzy is serviceable and she has improved over the years. Still not an actor I would tune into watch for but she does not affect my enjoyment of a good drama.

Why do you love Kdramas? I love the 16/20 episode arcs. There’s always a new one to watch. They’re relaxing too!

Jung Yoo Mi had made two films with Gong Yoo and two reality shows with Park Seo Joon. So far I have enjoyed her work.
