Hey fellow beanies! It’s been a while but I had a question I feel only you all could answer. Any advice I can get for going to a kpop concert? I’m going to my first one in a few days. Nervous/excited!

      Yes! I can definitely answer that!

      Wear comfortable shoes. You’ll probably be standing the whole time.

      Food and drinks are usually really expensive at the concert venue so you might want to bring your own food and eat it before you go in.

      At the concert I went to, they let you bring in a water bottle only if it is still sealed. If you buy one inside it’s about $5!

      Concerts get REALLY LOUD! I recommend bringing ear plugs if you still want to be able to hear the next day.

      If you want to, bring/buy a lightstick. It’s fun to have something to wave around 🙂

      Hey sorry I have been a terrible beanie and didn’t repost about going to the concert. I did go and it was so awesome to be surrounded by those who love K-pop. 😊😍
      It definitely makes one not seem weird to be into a group that doesn’t speak the same language as you. And they sang amazing!! It’s probably because I’m bias but my favorite was Baekhyun. 😅
      My friend went absolutely crazy for member and I can’t for the life of me remember who it was. 😅😂 Still looking for that one specific song where they went crazy and started really dancing!

      No, I didn’t know anything about this album or the songs (even less the MV) so I was so upset and excited when I was hearing my music and Deep in Love popped up and I realized it was new. 😦

    Yep! In October! I was surprised too because they’re still in their Gravity Tour which was their last mini album. I wasn’t expecting them to release a FULL album before they were done with their tour! But I really like it. @greenfields just found them engaging, finally! We’re building a nice little fan club, aren’t we, @saturtledaisy, @vivanisca?

    The first 2 episodes were uploaded on YouTube by a legal provider, but it looks like they’ve since been deleted for some reason. I only watched the first episode but I really liked it. Definitely had potential. I was really hoping Viki would license it but probably not now since it’s finished airing.

    Oh my! This is so funny! I never thought that Xu Kai can be so charming. I mean he’s an idiot here but when I first saw him in Yanxi Palace, he was stiff. Then he got a lot better in The Legends which I took a glimpse.

    If I’d time I would translate for you but this video is basically Xu Kai’s character being totally infatuated with the girl(Bai Lu). He leaves love notes saying mushy things. His expressions are so hilarious. In the last scene, he throws her paper planes but she got mad because the paper were her notes.

      They did!! It’s just that China is smart in the way that they will spread out the airing of dramas that have the same actors/actresses even though it may be filmed back-to-back.
      A couple of years ago, China aired 8 of Hawick Lau’s dramas back-to-back within the same year, all were 30+ episodes, and it got to the point that viewers were either getting confused and mixing things up or they were complaining that they saw Hawick Lau on tv too much, or both.
      I’m beginning to think that this situation might happen with Yang Zi really soon 🤔🤔

        I love Yang Zi but I don’t think she rests! I am excited about the drama she is filming now called Oath of Love, especially since my new-found love Xiao Zhan is the ML 😍

        And I just finished a drama called Love Better Then Immortality where the lead couple had just come from being the leads in another project called Prodigy Healer. I honestly don’t mind when they do this because they tend to end up having great chemistry with each other.

    So I just watched the first 2 episodes and it’s great. He is such a scamp in it 😍 It’s humorous, and not cheesy or over-the-top humor either, but you can tell there will be a lot of heart to it also.

      yep, I didn’t know about it until I finally caught up about some news in Soompi and turns out this drama is airing in a few days. I’m already interested because of the pairing and even more so cause the story sounds interesting. 🙂
