    It is very interesting. The actress that played Geum bi nailed the character. You will enjoy it while experiencing range of emotions….

    I tried to watch it when it aired live. I got over the half-way point in the show, but still never really felt invested in it, so I ended up dropping it. I would say that the first episode was the best of what I saw. I would say try it if you think it sounds like a good show, your opinion after the first episode is probably true for the remainder of the series.

        I was just saying that with this one show the first episode seems to let you know how you will enjoy the rest (normally I recommend first 3 episodes minimum to decide). Admittedly, I did not finish the show (because the overall story was not grabbing my interest, even though the actress playing Geum-bi was playing my heart like a master) but I do think it is a show worth trying for someone who is interested.

        I cannot speak for how the show ends, but I can say you will at least enjoy the majority of the show! Let me know if it is worth getting back to and finishing, I only didn’t watch the last 3 episodes. But I had a feeling that it was going to continue in the same way and not have a massive twist.

People keep comparing these two dramas together, even though I finished city hunter never have the urge to rewatch it, maybe am not a fan of revenge, rewatching healer again, am falling for the charms

    City Hunter for me. better writing and baddies, fast-paced and edgy. healer, well… I have come to better terms with it, but the action kind of sizzled out with the romance and there were too many lagging parts.

    They’re very similar and I love both equally. The action/baddie plot was better in City Hunter (more evenly paced, planned revenge, more balance between the two forces pulling Yoon-Seong apart), but the romance was better in Healer (more complimentary characters, more evenly written into the plot). Healer’s ending was way better though. The last five minutes of City Hunter stunk.

    Tbh, I did find him so handsome and so swoony when he played the King in Empress Ki. I was not into saeguk back then so I didn’t watch that drama. I was completely fell in love with him in Healer. 😍
