what about a Sung Joon cameo, that would be nice? they could all go to a concert in the end even if I don´t know how to weave it into the plot, but people do go to concerts? except Se Hee must win the tickets, not buy, they are too expensive
CEO Ma wants Se-hee and Won-seok to join a band competition to promote their app. He even brings in the perfect band members to round them out, Sung Joon and the rest of Eye Candy. The prize money would pay off the rest of his mortgage so of course Se-hee agrees.
Su-ji and Ho-rang get overexcited with their make-up and costumes. The next thing they know Se-hee is rockin’ eyeliner and ripped jeans. It’s too late to find anything else and Ji-ho is shooting him all kinds of hearts that he doesn’t dare protest.
Bok-nam tells Ji-ho to flirt with Sung Joon to make Se-hee jealous. I mean it worked when he flirted with her, right? She doesn’t mind the suggestion. Who would say no to the opportunity to flirt with a hot guy who plays guitar? But after every giggle she awkwardly side-eyes Se-hee to gauge his reaction. Sung Joon doesn’t know what to do with her awkward advances, if you can even call them that, but he takes it all in stride. He’s used to getting the attention and knows Jo Boa could take Ji-ho on if she got too close. However, Se-hee is not as non-chalant about her flirting. When they get on the stage, he steals every guitar solo and tries to upstage Sung Joon at every turn. Bok-nam lets Ji-ho know his plan worked after all.
Sehee and jiho aside, WonRang is painful to watch because I feel hurt for both of them. Their dreams and goals are too far apart. At this rate, it’s best that they break up. They’ll never meet halfway
I agree, they love each other, but they don’t match. In a relationship you need to share a few key commonalities; similar dreams and goals for the future, and matching morals. You don’t need to be exactly the same, differences even help, but you need to be on the same trajectory for your future, or you will fall apart.
In Sehee’s closet, there’s a jQuery book lying about. I just wonder… do Koreans learn programming in English? Do they code in English? Or do they make variables in Korean? HAHAHA!
For a non-native English speaker, it’s already too difficult for me to understand highly technical programming books. It’s not like we can easily translate it to our native language. What more for Koreans?
Sometimes, yes, people will learn code that is based on a foreign language. That is why it is sometimes said that learning to code is like learning another language. I once had to learn a coding language that was written by a French speaker (it was faster to use their code than re-work the program in a different language). It was very confusing how many of the variables seemed to be spelled ‘wrong’ to my brain.
I don’t want to jinx, but if BTLIOF successfully remains awesome all throughout its run, then it’s going to rival Shut Up Flower Boy Band in my all-time faves–solid writing all throughout.
Characters that are real and raw. I’ve never suffered a bumpy road with SUFBB. And both have Lee Minki!!! I just hope SUFBB writer comes back. I’ve never heard her after that drama.
So it seems like Sehee was the one who ended the relationship, not the other way around. It’s going to snowball on them when they confess to each other, I bet.
Maybe. I really like how, from last week, I thought “the girl must have left him” and now I’m all “Ohh… it was HIM who ended it.” THE WRITER IS SOO SOO SOO SOOOOOO GOOD!
Suji: \”Your husband–No, your landlord… You like him. If you didn\’t like him since the beginning, then did you like him while you were living with him?\” (Cont in the comment)
Jiho: *Nods then changes her mind*
Jiho: No… Was it since the beginning? i don’t know when I started to like him
Suji: What about him? Does he like you too?
Jiho: No… IHe doesn’t even know i like him.
Sanggu: I’m just curious about my girlfriend.
Suji: You’ve already came? Or You’re here already?
Sehee : These days… What do your friends do when they go on a date?
Sehee: I’m afraid… Of who I might hurt once more (I’m not really sure)
They stopped kissing and SH asked if he should stop(not sure) or if they should do it again and JH said “I want more” (I want to do it again. My Korean sucks so forgive me for the inaccuracies).
But I am absolutely sure that she said “더 할래요.” Jiho wasn’t kidding when she said she’s going to go on offense. Hahaha!
I read somewhere that he asked “do you get it now or do I need to show it again” and JH said “again”. I mean I would too LOL. Now I don’t know if I can sleep while waiting for the sub.
Ahh. That makes sense. I thought he said 아쉬겠어 so I got confused. What he really said was “이제 좀 아시겠읍니까/ Do you know it now.” And she said ” 더 할래요.” Hahahha!
GAAAAH! THAT KISS! WHAT HAVE I DONE TO DESERVE THIS?! I FEEL LIKE TOMORROW IS GOING TO BE A BAD DAY FOR ME BECAUSE I FEEL SO HAPPY TODAY. THIS IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.
That leaked video of Kim Sohyun and Shin Jaeha is giving me life! I need these two to star in a drama together as leads ASAP! Gaaah! Watch out for the next femme fetale in WYWS. HAHAHAHA!
I don’t want to post a link since it’s leaked and i might violate rules. Just try to search “sohyun femme” on twitter. It’s still up on some fan accounts.
WYWS started out soo good (or maybe I\’m just so biased toward kim sohyun?) but the the second half is just meh. Or maybe I got tired of always seeing them in not-so-near death situations? 🤷
I think this is me too. The stakes were high but they introduced life and death situations ALL THE TIME and early into the run too that I feel like, of course they’re not gonna die.
TEA! There are many different ways to make the stakes high without costing any of the lead’s life (I espcially like it when they deal with ethics). It also didn’t help that Jaechan ALWAYS won. It takes away from the underdog effect (wherein you would want to cheer for someone who seems like he might lose). I want him to fall down sometimes and learn from it. The only time it ever happened in the show was when the Chicken delivery guy got acquitted and guess what–it was prosecutor Shin who had to go through that.
Agreed but I dont hold it against them tho. I just think they following the standard kdrama SOP despite their somewhat new and exciting plot. Amazing at the beginning, falter at the middle and pretty bows with unicorns riding double rainbows at the end.
Yeah….I’m jaded like that.
