I use the giphy capture app on my laptop. You drag the box around the playing video and press the red record button. After recording you can click on the clip you made to make minor edits, add captions, and upload online or save the file. I like it because it is easy, I hear there is also a way to do it online using giphy.com, but I have never done it that way. Hope this helped, good luck!
